Lol fr, although I'm confused now too as to what happened. Lu Guang said he didn't go dark, but there's no reason they should have a bad connection (I'm not certain that's even possible lol). I think Lu Guang just went silent because he was trying to recall how to do the signs for "I want to go home" and realized he accidentally gave Cheng Xiaoshi the wrong instructions, so he was correcting himself when he said "I didn't mean to say nod your head before" lol.
There’s an English Dub for the second season already? That took a lot quicker than expected for this one.
I didn't know the second season was out yet. I wonder if he can talk while in her body, the other guy clearly expects her to be able to hear him, so I'm assuming she is mute.

It's not as sus as you're making it up to be. The premise of the show is about two guys who can jump back in time through photos, with one of them inhabiting the bodies of a person in the past. You can google the show instead of being lazy

It’s the MC using his time travel powers to control someone from the past via photos as a mission from clients who wants closure for something in their past.
In this clip he’s controlling a young girl, but because he can’t risk messing up the space time continuum his partner is instructing him to act as the person he’s controlling and reenact what exactly happened in those moment.
