the download button for me says HVEC extension was removed and gave me a steps on how to download the microsoft version which was confusing... did u download the microsoft version was their version still up?

Most videos just show the relinking media option, assuming that the problem is just about folder management.
This was the one video that also took codecs into consideration, helping us a great deal.

This worked a treat, this was a specifically bothersome issue, so thank you. As someone who had to constantly install different codecs for my experience in sony vegas just to get a modicum of efficiency, this was a pretty poor hint of nostalgia.

My guy i cant thank you enough really. you saved my 20gb of good content that i recorded in 4k 60fps with high efficincy on my phone. that somehow turned the format to hevc and i had 45 tapes of "Media offline" in my davinci haha. Thanks again!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this helpful video, I was getting exasperated trying to figure out why my media was supposedly offline. I tried two clips, one shot on my old Samsung Note 10 and one shot on my Samsung S23 and somehow only the Note 10 video works fine entirely, the S23 video was the problematic one that did not work until this video.
