I wonder if Rebecca is pushing herself harder than her little body can really handle. She does not lack mental toughness, but she does lack is consistency, and this may be due to how hard she pushes herself. She keeps herself in superb condition, and she is as strong as she can be, but perhaps that is not enough for what she asks her body to do. If she can ever get to be fully healthy and fully consistent, she can definitely win gold. Apart from that, she is a treat to watch, medals or no.
The grip dowell didn't get all the way around the bar on regrasp again. She looked just as shocked as everyone else when she pinged off because it really looked like she had it but, when that happens, there isn't anything you can do to save it, unfortunately. I never could figure out what was going on with her toes and ankles when she pointed them though. It looked as if her legs are bowed but, only when she was in handstand. I didn't ever notice it any other time.
@ImposssibleIsNothing I disagree. She is physically strong and agressive but not mentally strong IMO. She has had many falls in major competitions. 2009 visas fall on bars, 2009 world AA fall on floor, 2010 world AA fall on beam. After this fall on bars she goes to her next event beam and has two more falls thus 3 falls in two rotations at 2011 visas. This is just a few examples. I'm afraid she might go Vanessa Atler-esque for the 2012 season.
Aleksandra Ananović ? Gabby’s execution beat out everyone else’s at both Olympic Games. She’s super consistent if you ask me, yes, she made mistakes in both finals, so what ? It happened. She’s better than majority of gymnast now.

That routine would've been amazing without the fall
An 8 with a fall still amazing 😱👏🏻

I hope she brings back that Jaeger+Pak Salto combo she used to do. I t wasn't competed at these championships I guess.

Actually both of the commenators were olympians and used to perform the skill she fell on. lol
Elfi was never an Olympian.
what problem have her feet?
15.300*
The commentators r so mean man like they can do that
Even though she's so good at bars, she doesn't seem to have the same poise or control of gabby douglas or aliya mustafina
