When comparing Russia to America on a war footing the only thing to consider is can both country's put each other back to the stone age. In a war between them whoever is losing will eventually go for the nuclear option.

That’s not really true. The US would just destroy Russia militarily and force them to agree to a conditional peace. We wouldn’t invade deep into Russia itself or expect them to surrender. The US wouldn’t put Russia into a situation where they could justify using nukes

Before Russia invaded Ukraine Russia had 12,000 tanks. They've lost about 4,000 in Ukraine so now they have 14,000 tanks. Hmmmm.

We send out old stock and untested gear. Everything has a shelf life. That doesn't mean they're useless. Many of their tanks were made more than 40 years ago on a design from 70yrs ago. Since the early 00s, our military has ditched or redesigned almost every bit of our equipment.
We sold or gave soooo many m60 tanks to other countries. The m60 was our go to tank for nearly 50yrs. Basically, it's 1 of ours vs 3 of theirs to make it close to a fair fight whether in the sky, land or sea. Nukes though... that's why Russia is scary.

Если честно, то количественность особого веса не имеет. А вот опыт и стойкость армии к разным перебоям и шатаниям и т д - явно на российской стороне. Русские запросто сготовят ужин из травы и топленого снега, не будут мыться месяцами, не будут бояться потерять бизнес и деньги - у многих его нет. Эти циферки при равном характере народа актуальны, а при характере русского народа - США нужно раза в 3 больше личного состава, чтобы хоть что то пукнуть в сторону РФ. В пентагоне это понимают. Выпотрошили все что можно за 2 года в украину, а уже эффект бумеранга пошёл... Как во всех странах от народа правительству, так и на фронте. Рф ломает ВСУ по всем фронтам. IT IS OBVIOUS from relevant numbers that Russia is overwhelmingly a defensive continental power while the US projects power globally (11 carrier groups!) off its safe shores and spends an obscene amount of national resources on military.
Also, I've been reading lately that Russia has passed Germany into 5th place globally economically on a PPP basis.
In addition, take into account that comparable things are much cheaper in Russia, such as howitzers, tanks, BMPs, grenades, etc. And salaries - Putin's is only 120k compared to Biden's 400k. And on top of all that, Russia does not have a debt of 30,000,000,000,000 dollars... :)

Russia doesn’t have any modern maneuvering hypersonic missiles. The Kinzhal is not a hypersonic missile and were easily shot down by the Patriot SAM

This is Russian propaganda copium and an obvious lie. Russia has been fighting against only Ukraine, which has received aid and equipment from NATO countries, mostly in the form of munitions and equipment no longer considered strategically critical to Western military stocks. Russia has also received massive aid from Iran, North Korea, and China, mostly in the form of munitions but also in the form of electronics they lost access to from Western countries (because Russia is incapable of developing these domestically). There are no NATO forces in Ukraine other than some advisors in non-combat roles and perhaps some Western crews operating Patriot systems defending Ukrainian cities from Russian terrorist attacks. Russia has lost a tremendous amount of men and equipment against the Ukrainian military, not against NATO. If NATO were to be directly involved in the conflict we would see 100,000 armored vehicles rolling into Ukraine, 20 aircraft carriers operating off Russia's coastline, thousands of aircraft including over 1000 stealth aircraft decimating Russian positions, millions of professional troops overloading Russia's defenses, and the most capable SOF units on the planet operating behind Russia's lines all in perfect theater-wide coordination. We haven't seen that because Russia is only fighting Ukraine

A couple of important omissions. Most of Russia’s military infrastructure, hardware, equipment & fleet is outdated and 2nd rate. Don’t forget NATO is also nuke capable and the good guys (our) side.

I agree. These videos always annoy me. I recall watching a video the other day where they said that 2 x F-35's would destroy around 6 x F-16 fighters (at 100km range) before they even knew the F-35 was there. If it got to a dog fight then it's a different story but modern aircraft are much different and that applies to other things. I recall hearing something about the main class of US Aircraft Carriers are 10x better than what everyone else in the world has. If you did this same comparison of USA vs Thailand I'm sure that Thailand has 6000 crop dusting planes fitted with guns as well.

У самолета низкая живучесть всего один двигатель, воздухозаборник снизу, прямо за стойкой шасси, что требует отличных аэродромов, а в условиях войны с рф таких не будет условий. Иначе один камень, и весь самолет на выброс. С F-35 тоже проблемы. Самолет изначально неудачный концептуально. Модификацию с вертикальным взлетом вообще можно не обсуждать (проблемы с переходом между режимами полета, очень маленькая грузоподъемность со всеми вытекающими). Один двигатель, опять же, низкая маневренность, цена ремонта бьющая все рекорды. На самом деле, это частая история с самолетами США. F-117 например (летающий утюг). Ну то есть F-35 как бы есть, но он как бы фейковый с военной точки зрения - никчемный.
Does this take into account the results of 2 years of Ukraine obliterating 30,000 pieces of Russia's equipment? Its always been brain over brawn. I'm not saying our govt is very "brainy" but the men they deploy are (remember that). So many of Russias soldiers fight because they must but truly lack the national pride. Only the people here in the US have that power over our military. Regardless of where our govt sends them, they fight for you not the people in office. Remember, they were allowed to make that choice unlike so many other places in the world that so many of you people living in the US "stand" with.
