Hi Shane, I really appreciate your way of explaining things. So, if I want to replicate the same project in the RSLogix 5000 emulator, I can set up the inputs, outputs, and the controller, but I won't be able to include the PowerFlex components. However, I believe I can achieve this by using the SoftLogix 5800, correct?
@@ShaneWelcher What if someone doesn't have the hardware and only wants to emulate the Flex drives, SERCOS, and network cards? The best way to work around that is by using SoftLogix, correct?
First off, thank you for presentation. So, you had a actual I/O configuration on the rack but it was only recognizable by RSlinx but not STUDIO5000 until you defined them one by one under the software? is this correct?
The I/O is Allen-Bradley (AKA) Rockwell Automation. The way I showed this setup is just a quick reference for anyone that uses RSLinx. Best practice, easy setup for uses
Funny how typing goes when you make videos & trying to explain how things work...multiple things sometimes cause multiple edits but hey, either way, we have great training & knowledge pas to help others learn. Hope all is well.

Great video Shane, You should increase the magnification on your screen to make them more visible.
I have in the coming videos, keep watching this series & you'll see the zoom ins & highlighted sections.
ok will do
Thanks.
You're welcome

You can use FactoryTalk Echo Logix software for emulation as well without changing the processor type
@@ShaneWelcher
In the FactoryTalk Echo Logix software, there is no option to include the PowerFlex components.
@@UmerSarwarFaiz It's a way to emulate any pre-existing progam

@@UmerSarwarFaiz I guess, I only use Studio 5000 emulator and Logix Echo

Just wondering what would 1769-IR6/A mean? Does it represent Analog Inputs?
It's analog, the one I show in the video does inputs & output 4 to 20 or 0 to 10 depending on the way it's wired
@@ShaneWelcher thank you 🙏
Btaching opps bathing ,opppsss batching station 😁😁 there we go😁😁

@@ShaneWelcher yes very easy to understand and effective 👍👍
Can you do this project completely with Studio 5000 Emulator? and if so do you need to add an Ethernet Card to your tree?
Yes, you can do a whole project using an emulator like I have in the past.
No need for physical devices
Okay great ! Is there a way to add a powerflex device to your RSLinx tree using emulator ?
I’m attempting to do your entire batching project and am having trouble with the power flex device
