I find myself hypnotized by the beauty of travelling through Arizona - all I can state is that, if I was on a duplicate road trip, I would find myself pulling over every fifteen minutes just to become part of the view. You, FTHOG, are blessed with having this world around you and free to access any time you like. Will be watching the rest of the series and just wishing-wishing-WISHING I could be there.
You, sir, are insane! Riding all day 500+ miles through the desert southwest with no sleves.... Most people would be burned to a crisp. Cannot imagine the tan lines on your wrists. Be safe. I rode in the Convoy through NY, PA and OH. It is a phenominal time. Enjoy it!
Lol...Lots of sunscreen. Ha ha. Thanks for watching.
I'm watching this series whilst doing my own 80 day motorcycle trip around America. I'm actually in a Barstow motel having come from Vegas today. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Thank you for the great video.
Hello there! Thanks for following along. 80 day ride sounds amazing. Be safe out there!
Bruh, you are traversing the United States of America, on the only correct bike: Harley. It does NOT get any more legendary than that and makes all bikers around the world salivate. Safe riding:)
Holy crap! That’s the cleanest I’ve ever seen a bike after a 500-mile day in the summer! My wife and I have taken 4 major trips in the last 4 months, and in each one my bike was plastered with bugs every day. After some of them, I wasn’t sure if it was bugs or birds that I was cleaning off. 😮
LMAO! Yeah, I know what you mean. I've never seen my bike that clean after even a 50 mile trip. Thanks for watching.
Watching this while sitting in a hotel room in Sioux Falls SD with the Great American Convoy. Guess I’ll be seeing you in the morning. Ride on!
Heck yeah man. I'm currently at BW Hotel editing Day 2. I appreciate you watching. See you in the morning.
Knocking out as many miles in your first stint while the legs are fresh - great advice.
Thanks man. I appreciate you watching.
Brother, your work, your content is second to none when you get out on the road like this. I can’t tell you how glued I’ll be to each upcoming video drop from you. This is the stuff I get charged up about. I don’t ride to bar hop, I ride to see the landscape we’re blessed to enjoy, and take in the community that’s awaiting us at every stop. Man, that’s why I ride.
Yeah man! I totally agree. I love getting out there and seeing this country. Be safe and thanks for watching.
Always a positive thing when you can carve out some time to do something for yourself. Riding motorcycles does that for me.
Totally agree! Thanks for watching and for the comment. Be safe.
I found your channel a couple of days ago and have watched a few videos. Just want to let you know that you're doing an awesome job! I'm up here in Canada close to Niagara Falls, and I'm recovering from hip replacement surgery. I'll be watching all of your videos and riding vicariously through them until I can ride again.
The wife and I rode 2 up on the GAC and it was a real blast. The people we met were as good as the ride.
Agreed! Thanks for watching. 🤙🏻
Love the raw footage, what a fabulous view, that's the way to ride anywhere, just ride til you cannot. A good rest makes the next day so much better and yesssss sun rise...........beauty ride.
Thank you for watching. I hope you enjoyed the series. Be safe.
You are tough hitting it in that heat. But we all push ourselves, I did a couple years ago in Arizona. Picked up a bike to ride on vacation and within a hour in 100 degree weather I dehydrated and cramped up. Won’t do that again. I was 61 at the time. I didn’t prepare for the heat, but I do now.
Good luck. 👍
Yeah, that heat is a killer. I will prepare better for the next time around. Thanks for watching and be safe.
I was on the way to Milwaukee myself until the slave cylinder on my Hydraulic clutch failed in Flagstaff on a Sunday the 9th. It doesn't help that the dealership there is closed Sunday and Monday. I have enjoyed watching you make the trip at least.
So sorry to hear about your ride. I appreciate you following along. 🤙🏻
I hated the bag but liked the bracket . After Sturgis I came home got rid of the bag and cut the bracket down and welded it back together to fit my Saddleman bag . It’s more better now .
Interesting. I do love the bag though. It fit everything for me and the wife for the entire trip. I appreciate you watching.
Completely awesome, thanks for bringing us along!! Ride safe!!
Thank you for watching Dale.
Ride safe. Got Sturgis on my horizon from Florida.
Nice! Safe travels to you on your upcoming trip.
You are the real deal stay safe
Thanks for watching Lisa.
I am inspired. Great content!! Had me rolling when you ran back to get the camera. Lol
Lol, I was wondering if anyone would get a chuckle off of that. Good catch. I appreciate you watching.
Ride safe God bless and keep you in his care
Thank you Joanne. I appreciate you.
Hell yea dude, getting close-ish to my neck of the woods, Grand Junction-ish. So much good riding.
Sorry for the delayed response. Trying to get through all the comments now. It was a great ride for sure. Be safe and thanks for watching.
ive taken my 17 road glide special from key west to sturgis and Yellowstone and beyond. my next adventure id like to ride coast to coast!! I have 103k miles on my M8 107 stage 1 and it hasn't been in the shop for anything yet! I found out that wearing a mesh crash jacket keeps you very cool while banging 700 plus miles in a day. Looking forward to watching this series! your "sturgis don't care" was outstanding!
Haha the tripod "I told ya it was gonna be raw"
Gah I'm so jealous man! I freakin LOVE the desert. I need to take a trip...
DO IT! Then we can kick it for a bit.
So far so good. Love riding on long trips.be safe🎅🏼🏍🇺🇸
Thanks for watching.
Awesome buddy, I'll see you in Sioux Falls this afternoon on the Convoy!!
Thanks Scott, see you there. Ride safe.
G’day from Australia. Went through St George recently via Bryce and Zion on way to Las Vegas with EagleRider. Fantastic roads and scenery. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your travels
Hello Australia! I appreciate you watching.
Dude, this is awesome! Your story telling via editing is aspirational! Ride safe!
Thanks a ton! I appreciate you following along and taking time out of your day to watch. More to come.
@@FullThrottleHOG Awesome :D
Amazing content. Love your speech about the wind therapy. Feel the work stress building and my trip is 4 weeks away.
This series is going to be fantastic. Great content, very enjoyable.
Thank you! I really appreciate you watching.
I just discovered you now, I love these types of videos
Looking forward to following this journey with you. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Craig. I appreciate you watching.
man i never have good luck with the "free wifi" lol
nice ride bud 💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks brother, appreciate you!
Great video. Hoping I can meet you in Sioux Falls.
I will see you there. 🤙🏻
I watch so many RUclipsrs out on the west coast and midwest and it looks like my ideal riding environment. Living in Virginia, the hardest part is having to ride 1.000 miles to get out to that terrain... The riding in this video looked perfect 👌🏻
I love the midwest for riding motorcycles. It just provides a lot of options. California is beautiful, but I can't wait to get out of this state for good. You take away the Pacific Coast Highway and there is really nothing to brag about.
Great stuff, really appreciate you sharing this journey.
Too bad you didn’t get to stop in Vegas, maybe on the way back.
Definitely agree, a motorcycle trip clears your head and you come back different, but better for it.
Have a few planned myself this year.
Looking forward to watching how your journey progresses.
Ride safe
I appreciate you watching and following along. It was definitely hard to pass up Vegas. lol
I have done that trip up the i15 in a car many times…. Would love to do it on a bike too but not in those temps right now!
Keep up the good work 👌🏻
And well done for not stopping at Baker for some alien jerky 👍🏻😂
Thank you for watching. Yeah, those temps were brutal...But, I did enjoy the ride up the canyon.
Love your work, have been following you since Sturgis doesn’t care and your posts are inspirational
Thank you Andrew! I appreciate you being here and taking the time to watch the videos. Be safe.
Great video. Always fun to watch. Be safe out there.
Thank you Brock! I appreciate you watching.
stay safe! will be watching.
I appreciate you!
Great video and fun to watch. Thanks for posting the raw footage. I’m looking forward to watching the rest of your trip. I’m heading out on a 3,000 mile trip of my own to Wyoming in a few weeks with my big brother and our sons. I thought that was a pretty impressive number until you said your trip was going to be double that! 😅. It’ll be my longest trip ever so it should be a blast. Safe travels and keep posting!
Hey Greg! Super stoked to hear about your trip coming up with your sons. Truth be told, my father and I always talked about taking a trip on motorcycles together but we never made it happen. Enjoy those memories and thanks for watching.
Nice! Looking forward to the series!
Thanks for giving it a look. 🤙🏻
The best videos I’ve ever watched on RUclips as far as motorcycle content is on this channel. Thank you for producing these videos for us to enjoy. God bless you on your trip. I can’t wait to see the videos from Milwaukee to come out.
Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching and I hope you enjoy this series. Be safe.
You are a TRUE ROAD WARRIOR 👍💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Your doing a great job. We'll see if your route goes near Iron Hill HD in Waukon IA. Ride safe
Thanks Tom. I appreciate you taking the time to watch the videos. Be safe.
Will watch for you in Milwaukee!!
Thanks for watching. It was definitely a great time. Be safe.
Nice! Be safe/stay hydrated 🤙
Thanks man. I appreciate ya!
Dude. Get you some Sun Sleeves. Game changer on long hot days. The RR system is great
I went with route 66. Same everything.
I do think I will look into some Sun Sleeves for the future. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I stay blessed and safe travels!🇺🇸
Thanks Brad! 🤙🏻
Exciting to ride with you, even if it is virtual! Hope to see you in Sturgis. You going?
Hello Terry. Thanks for giving the video a look. Unfortunately, I will not be at Sturgis this year. Be safe.

Been there in my Jeep. Stay hydrated.
SeriouslyLesson learned for sure.
DUDE! I'm so excited about this series! And I'm with you... I need to schedule some PTO and put some solo miles on the HOG.
Thanks for following along as I appreciate you being here. Stay safe.
I don't want to think about how many chargers you are running lol
Lmao. I actually got away with only having to charge GoPro's and Drone for the most part. I packed 6 batteries for the Nikon. Thanks for watching.
Looking forward to this serie. Hope that this trip brings you as much joy as your video’s brings us. Stay safe. Question, are you using the 12 inch touring wind screen on this trip?
Hello there. Sorry for the delayed response. Yup, I chose to run the 12 inch Pro-Touring for this trip. Be safe and thanks for watching.
@@FullThrottleHOG thanks for your reply. I loved the serie.
Great first video! Looks like an awesome trip. Ride safe. Looks like you’re by yourself. Is your wife flying out to meet you?
Thanks Jim. Yup, the wife flys in on Friday. 🤙🏻
I'd be more inclined to say the ride gets amazing once you get out of St George, Utah, maybe Mesquite, NV, from Southern California. At least the places I like to ride. I do like the more raw format.... shows more sides to travel by motorcycle, not all the glam stuff. I am no longer a Subway patron... It's a bread sandwich with lettuce, vinegar and oil, and you need a microscope to see the meat in the sandwich. You do need some real calories for your brain to stay sharp while riding in the traffic on interstate 15, really bad drivers out there going to Las Vegas or Utah, 15 to 20 above speed limit, to avoid getting run over. The best part about riding solo is there's no compromises, the whole trip. That's the best part about being free out there.
Really great points here. I appreciate you watching. Be safe.
Why do you avoid Nebraska? I'm completely out of the loop.
Thank you!!
🤘
I appreciate you being here.
Me, a Nebraska rider listening to this 😢
Sorry Jake. I hope you watched the rest of the series.
@@FullThrottleHOG working on it! Also, no hurt feelings, I know NE roads can be straight as a ruler and boring as hell!
GREAT VIEDO
Thanks for watching!
Im thinking one would return home with the same hang ups with a sore ass, sunburn and tired AF.
Yes, but totally worth it. ha ha. Thanks for watching.
Where did you get your leather vest from?
You may have mentioned it but what size riser and bar did you go with? How tall are you?
I am 6'3". Im running the 6.5 inch pullback.
Hi there from Australia
What speed do you sit on and what microphone are you using?
Good luck on your ride and good luck with your butt pain.
Colin
Hello Colin, during these clips I was tracking pretty good at 80-90 MPH (128KPH -144KMH). I appreciate you taking the time to follow along.
👍👍
Thanks Mike. 🤙🏻
I'm from Texas, but wondering why you're avoiding Nebraska.?Staying in Sidney on my way to Sturgis.
Oops, just saw your reply to earlier comment. Power on!
I was talked into riding through Nebraska later on in the series. lol. Thanks for watching.
Beartooth Rally
Definitely interested. Thanks for watching.
Why again did you not want to go thru Nebraska?
Oh, and by the way, when in Barstow you must do Del Taco. There's none other like it!! Believe me
Kinda a joke, but I need elevation changes or some type of curve in the road. Lol. Thanks for watching.
Are you riding by yourself or with your wife?
Wife flew into Milwaukee to ride with me for a few days. 🤙🏻
@@FullThrottleHOG That’s cool. Sometimes you say “we” but the shadow says no one is with you on the bike.
