For some REALLY frustrating reason, I was getting zero transparency. No matter what values I placed in there, no matter what value I put in for IOR, no matter what color I applied, my windows were totally opaque. In the hardware preview, they were transparent.
WTH?!?

did you check the translucency option? also the glass needs an environment to reflect, without any it will be transparent.

@@Platformstudio The translucency parameter is completely grayed out. There is nothing I can switch on -- this even after I make sure there is transparency. And yes, I put in a sphere with an HDRI map, and even put something behind my windows to show through.
Does V-Ray need depth in the geo for transparency to work? My windows were flat, 2D planes.
