- Before I went on my 3½ year long hiatus, I made a video about Loki & Sigyn which covered the storylines of Thor, Avengers and Thor: The Dark World. While I've been away a few more MCU-films have joined the multiverse, so obviously I've been wanting to do a sequel. And this is it! Surprisingly it only took me 3 days to make it (which is extremely fast for me -- hell, the first video took me 11 months!)
This video can be watched as a stand-alone piece however I'd advice watching the first video also to get the "full experience" so to speak: • Corrupted Lungs // Lok...

People may not comprehend why loki fell in love with "Himself," but consider the following: Lady Loki has been Through What Loki has, she understands his experiencesand she is familiar with him because she is a variety of Him. He finally has someone in his life who understands him. As a result of falling in love, he learned to love himself.
I'm still one of those who is confused. lol I get what you are saying but it still feels oddly self-serving. as in the only person loki could ever fall in love with is himself. ?? Idk I guess I just don't like that aspect of it. I do like Sylvie and I like the way they developed their relationship but it still feels weird to me. Not like it would if we got Sigyn like in this video.
he isn't even in love with sylvie tho, he's just obsessed with her just like brad wolfie said it. obviously because he never met anyone so similar to himself and he (plus lots of naive fans in the audience) mistook that feeling for "love" but considering the fact that loki has narcisstic personality disorder, it would have been extremely unhealthy & would just enable his narcissism. so i'm glad they scrapped that "romance" in the 2nd season bc he does deserve to have a love interest who is someone other then himself.

If you try the do real mythology. This is wrong. Loki never love sigyn.
I'd love to know where you got that information from. I have actually read both the Poetic Edda AND the Prose Edda and Loki not loving his wife is not mentioned anywhere. Generally very little is mentioned about her at all really but it doesn't say anywhere that he didn't love her. And anyway I don't really see the importance in this case.
