Yeah bro she bad! I got the 2015 6-6 myself. I also very much respect the fact you went with a lighter wheel set. Way too often people kill performance with heavy ass wrong size wheels.

@@jraymond6062’m about to figure that out myself. I know that a full 3” catback on a 2.4L I4 K24 was still way too large. Oh, and a 3” DUAL exit would’ve been absolutely ridiculous. I’m barely even debating about a 3” dual setup on my NA 3.5L V6, like in this video, cause of the similar low end power/torque losses. Sure, it sounded nice, but most people aren’t tuned around to gain back some low to mid end power. If anything, most of my gains were all near VTEC to redline. I had to give a lot more gas than normal in stop and go traffic, and it definitely felt as if I didn’t have enough tq when i needed it at low speeds.
This is a myth you don’t need back pressure in a 4 stroke engine and FLOW is the priority. I suggest reading Mike Kojima’s Honda tuning book, you’ll get facts from an engineer instead of tips from people who think they know shit online.
Nice wheel setup. And love the exhaust 🎵. I just sold my 2020 Mustang GT ten speed and bought a 2013 Honda Accord V6 coupe. Love it. Has plenty of power to keep me happy..looks sexy. Just a different kind of sexy. Needs louder exhaust. So far it has the Borla axle back, and magna flow high flow cat. It's rediculously quiet still. Im thinking need to get rid of resonator. Tryn to do the less expensive stuff first.
That’s awesome to hear!! I’m glad you love it! These are definitely amazing cars! I hope you find the exhaust note to your liking! Thanks for watching as well! ❤️
Hey man I tried to find you on the FB page but maybe im dumb lol. Trying to go the 3” single exit route next year. How did you go about doing this setup?? Was it all custom from a shop? Or were you able to order a kit and add on the vibrant UQ’s?? I found a company called trubendz makes a 3” kit for the 7th gen accord but not the 9th. Im fbo all motor tuned 6-6. Everything you can do besides cams and boost lol. Looking for that last few HP. My exhaust currently is PCD, ATLP catted J pipe, stock mid with a Vibrant UQ and a Borla axle back.
The reason for those 2 bolt on exhaust parts is to make the car catless, meaning there is less restriction in the exhaust system. With there being less restriction.. you gain power from these 2 parts. The RV6 PCD gains about 10whp-20whp and the ATLP J pipe gains about 10whp-15whp.
Surprisingly, the 6MT in the 9th gen Accord V6 is just barely a bit beefier than the 6MT in the 9th gen Accord I4 models. I haven't personally seen a ton of people blow out gear synchronizer rings on the V6 6MT, but I've already seen 5+ people with the I4 6MT over a span of 5 years having severe gearbox issues. They were having lockout issues, grinding gear synchros, having gears popping out, losing entire gears.... Granted, yes, the manual gearboxes might have the typical K-series "issues", but I personally remedied that by religious changing the MTF/gear oil at least every engine oil change, or every other engine oil change. It all really comes down to how you drive the car obviously, but I personally blew out the axles and had other mechanical issues, leaving the gearbox having only occasional 2nd gear grinds at high redline RPM. My 6MT had at least 78k miles on it before it had to be swapped out for a newer used one, with about 50k miles.
So you bought 4 different items for this single exhaust if I’m correct ? Just got myself the same whip and love this exhaust sound/build. Trying to do this exhaust but not sure if I’m looking at the right stuff lol.
Correct, although my new setup is dual exit now, I prefer the dual exit setup more, it sounds more clean and defined. Check out the other exhaust video I have on my channel! Don't forget to Like and Subscribe!

Sexy car! I was wondering how the torque curve feels with the 3 inch? Some ppl say it's too wide and robs low end torque
it'd say it hits good mid end -top end, but need to redo a dyno pull to see the power band/graph.
In theory the 3" pipe give higher top end and takes away from the low end but I'm wondering if that can be corrected with the P2r manifold spacer?
@@jraymond6062 I am not too sure about the manifold spacer part but it does seem like i might have lost a little bit of low end
