Their was always a iron clad rule when ever the Bharatiya Kings fought. The Hindukush mountains were seen as a boundary to the Aryavarta or Bharat. Even though there were many kings in the region they had same culture and they all saw it as their duty to protect the whole Bharata present day afganistan from hindukush to the whole Pakistan and India. No one ever dared to attack the region Alexander was first to try he failed, it was huns who for the first time successfully launched a conquest to Bharata.
Gupta Empire was one of the most powerful Empire in history of Bharat and truly a Golden age of Bharat. Gupta Empire was founded by King Sri Gupta. It was strongest Military and economic power of Bharat after Mauryan Empire. The most Notable and strongest rulers of Gupta Empire were Chandragupta I, Samudragupta and Chandragupta Vikramaditya (Chandragupta II). Chandragupta I , Samudragupta and Chandragupta Vikramaditya all took the title of Maharajadhiraja. Samudragupta Defeated and Subjugated 12 southern kingdoms as mentioned in Prayagraj inscription. Samudragupta also did the Ashwamedha Yagya. Chandragupta Vikramaditya extended Gupta boundries toll India river in west and till Narmada in South. Gupta's has one of the strongest armies of that time and also well modernized army . Skandagupta of Gupta dynasty defeated the Huna invasion successfully. Samudragupta made 7 different types of Gold and Silver coins that were used as currency. During Gupta Empire, a huge number of gold coins were made. During the Gupta dynasty, India had trade relations with China, and with the Roman Empire. Sanskrit was on its peak under the Gupta Empire. It was the official language (the language of court) at that time. Nalanda university was established during the Gupta Empire, under the rule of Kumaragupta-I. At that time Ramayana and Mahabharata became very popular. During the rule of the Gupta dynasty, many temples were made. Dashavatara Temple of Deogarh, Vishnu Temple of Tigawa, and Temple of Sarnath were just a few examples. Architecture and sculpture development was on the peak at that time, temples of that time are the example of this. In Gupta era, first timebricks were used in the construction of Temple. Kalidasa, Vatsyayana, Harisena, Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Vishnu Sharma, Bharavi all these scholars born in the Gupta era. Aryabhata also discovered zero and wrote his famous book Aryabhatiya in the Gupta.
We had a continuous invasion for thousands of years from almost every Kingdom possible, maybe because we used to be rich but the biggest reason for our downfall was the lack of internal unity.
There was no battle in the name of Vishnu or Shiva it's Just one's devotional choice. When Hindu kings faught they never touched villager, woman and children as well as no battles after sun set ( to respect wildlife which also sleep at night).
Funny joke. How come Hindu King Raja Raja chola and his son killed nearly hundred thousand sinhalese civilians in conquest of Sri Lanka when they brunt down the 1400 year old city of Annuradapura to the ground. And even worse monsters like Kalinga Magha who genocided northern Sinhalese population to the point that they dont exist at a. 17 times Hindu Indian kings tried invading Lanka, 7 times they succeeded and destroyed the island and killed so many innocents. in the early 19th century the Hindu Vijayngara Empire took control of the island because male bloodline of Sinhalese monarchy died out and the new Indian Kings were so dam barbaric in 1815 Kandy Convention we willingly gave away our island to the British who were previously unable to conqueor us in exchange for getting rid of the horrible Indian Kings. You Indians were worse than even British, and you have the audacity to pretend to be all innocent.
Huns were from a wide area up to Kazakhstan. The Huns you refer to in Hungary are the western group. The group which came to today's north-west India were an eastern group. I believe there were 3 groups of Huns which raided different directions at different times.
The European conquers never seen a war elephants before it was only in Bharat 🇮🇳🕉 that had thousands and thousands of war elephants with an armor. it's literally like a Tank💀
Nope. Iran, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, China all had war elephants. India would even import elephants from Sri Lanka cause the Sri Lankan subspecies of Asian Elephant is the largest of its kind.
Crusade is between two religion but it's not religion used in war in India it's between kingdoms. They didn't wage war on god name. They where patrons of LORD VISHNU ie built more temple, travel house, etc in his name. Some Gupta where patrons of LORD SHIVA like king skandagupta.
12:00 Noo, this is not similar to crusades, the wars were not in the name of "God". What he is saying is the different kings had different Gods which they considered ultimate and they drew inspirations through them and skeed their blessings for victory. Like the Gupta's used to worship Bhagwan Vishnu as the Ultimate, and the Huns which later adopted and merged into Sanatan Umbrella primarily chose to worship Shiva as their choice of ultimate. And it's important to note that there was no fighting because one kingdom wanted to impose their prefered God, because all gods were AND are worshipped by everyone, it's not like people who believe Vishnu to be the supreme don't worship Shiva or Bhrahma or other gods and goddesses, it's just matter of personal choice of what god they are drawn towards more and what school of thought they like. And also the reason why in the video he mentioned that there was high level of religious tolerance by the Gupta's towards Buddhism and Jainism is because they were not considered as different "religion" so to speak, religion as a concept is foregin to India. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism..these all Indic "religions" are not actually religions but rather different schools of thoughts and philosophies under Sanatana Dharma, well they were atleast until they were all divided and categorised into different "religions" by westerners and anglos (Brits).
In general, Northwestern India (Punjab, Kashmir), Northern India (around Delhi and Western UP), coastal Western India (Gujarat, coastal Maharashtra, Sindh, Western MP and less deep desert parts of Rajasthan) and coastal Southern India (Kerala, coastal Karnataka and parts of Tamilnadu) will have genetic influence and admixture from Mediterranean Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Meanwhile, Northeast India, East Bengal (Bangladesh), Nepal and the rest of the Himalayan region and Tibet are more likely to have genetic influence from Eastern Asia.
Ancient India and Greece was very much connected.Infact their Gods are also similar to Hindu Gods. The word India also came from Greek historians who described Bharat as India because of the Sindhu River which they pronounced as Indus river. Greeks are also mentioned in Mahabharat and said to have fought in Mahabharat war which lasted for 18 days. Edit: The land was given to Brahamans to not to rule, but open Gurukuls means schools.Brahamns used to do the teaching work.
Guptas were not just Powerful and Economy builders but to tell a story Ramagupta, who preceded Chandragupta to the throne. Ramagupta decides to surrender his queen Dhruvadevi to a Shaka enemy when besieged, but Chandragupta goes to the enemy camp disguised as the queen and kills the enemy, tells lot about them
Actually the fight over here was not like crusades not any religious war as such couse shiva vaishnava shakti these classifications are just to identify the process of worshipping and ritual differences but never in bharat(india) the two kings may have worshipped different gods but they doesn't kill the peoples with different believe cause they also know the eternity is always their regardless of the different approaches they never destroy temple either of its shiva or its of vishnu or krishna or devi or any other deity

Alexander died in 323BC in Babylon, and Mauryan Empire founded a year later in 322BC. Alexander never even met a Mauryan Empire cause it didnt exist at his time.
@@mhk6093 No it was Mallian who finally conviced Alexander that he should return to Babylon for time being. After Alexander beat Porus and won battle of Hyaspes they continued down the Indus Valley and arrived in Mallian kingdom, in now day Multan Pakistan, and in the siege of the city Alexander with only two other men managed to scale the walls and jump into the city where he was shot by an arrow from a Mallian archer. The archer shot was so powerful it pierced through his armour, deep into his lung. His surgeon quickly got to work but his army thought he was dead and in blind bloody fury killed every single person in the city spare no women or child. Lucky for Alexander his surgeon worked a miracle and he managed to live. But now he was wounded and he didnt have energy to say no to when his soldiers asked to go back home so he agreed and sent a third of his army down the Indus and back by sea, the other third through Carmania, southern Iran, while his third with him trekked through Gedrosian desert. And hence they returned to Babylon where Alexander a year later died from Maleria.
@@malindudissanayake7458 If getting wounded story is true then that must've happened before because it was the frontiers of Nanda Empire where he decided to turn back fearing military might of Magadh. Although Greek historians like to put the blame of hasty withdrawal on soldiers but that never looked convincing. By the way he reached Multan on his way to Macedonia, even if he was wounded there, that certainly wasn't the reason because by that time he was already retreating from India.
@mhk6093 Do you understand who Alexander just defeated? The Achemanid Persian Empire, the most powerful empire to ever exist and the first super state on earth. It stretched for 5.5 million km2, had 2.3 million troops and 44% of world population and half the world GDP. That's equal to today's USA, China, Japan and Germany combined in power. Not even British or Mongol Empire have reached such economic might and so much of world population. And Alexander defeated all that with just 50,000 men. Men who weren't born warriors, but sheperds and farmers. And just in less than decade. In comparison Nanda Empire was just 400,000km2 which is just 7% of Achemanid and 200,000 troops, less than 9% of Achemanid. It was a child infront of Achemanid Empire. So why after you defeat a Lion you will be scared of a medium sized jungle cat? It makes no sense for Alexander to be scared of Nanda. Just in battle of Gaulegemla he had defeated 270,000 Persian troops and Elephants included with just 47,000 men. In one battle he had defeated more than entire Nanda army with one fifth the men. Why would he be scared of Nanda? And now he has all resources of Persian Empire behind him as well? It makes no sense for Alexander to be scared of Nanda, none at all.
The Huns attacked on India in waves they were savages and very brutal,Skandagupta a Gupta emperor protected the territories of Bharata (from the Hindukush mountains and the whole Indian peninsula) from the Huns. Later they carved out a territory for themselves in the region of Afganistan and later they reached to northern India where they destroyed the oldest university in the world The Takshashila university. Unlike Slovakia they did assimilate in Indian culture they later patronised one of the greatest mathematician of India Brahmagupta. Huns also built the bamiyan buddhas in afganistan.

The horse is not sacrificed in Ashvmedha yagna as described in 4:30 bec its a sin in rig veda as killing every animal is a sin in hindu principles. This video doesnt tell that Samudragupta was a good son & a kind person. He did music & poetry. Helped the flood victims & conquered for his late father's wish. In our part of india we celebrate this ancestor
Ne more interesting fact, in bharat there was a rule during wars, wars were actually duals in ancient bharat. So, during war a soldier used to fight with another soldier, a horse rider used to duel with another horse rider , a charioteer used to duel with another charioteer. I mean basically wars were not fought just to shed blood and win by hook or crook but there was dharma followed while fighting wars too. There is famous English saying " everything is fair in love and war", fortunately in bharat we believe that dharma i.e. ( following rules ) is part of our life.
12:08 both are completely different He didn't attacked those Kingdoms in name of Vishnu or any other God And also there were no killings of local people or conversion like what was common in crusades . Gupta Empire never killed innocents in name of religion or attacked them .the kingdoms he attacked were all Hindu majority and most of them were worshipers or lord Vishnu. And also there was no concept of religion in India at that time, there were 6 different schools of thought and 100's of different sects out of which now only Buddhism and Jainism are alive and Hinduism represents combination of all 6 thoughts
Samudragupta, was one hell of a efficient ruler, conqueror. He defeated 9 south indian kings in one go and left all of them free to rule under his empire.

Huns are more like mongolians rather than Hungarians. Huns looked like Mongolians in appearance. The mix between Huns and easter Europeans are Hungarians. At present, the ethnicity thay resemble Huns more are mongolians. The second ethnic group that resembles Huns are Turks(not to be confused with people who live in Turkey).
check out Attila the Hun and how that translates to Hungarians. Just because in your part of the world it was different -does not mean it was the same over here, if you know what I mean.
@@zuzanareacts Sure I understand where you are coming from. Ancient Hungarians might have taken the identity of Huns but historically speaking, Hungarians never looked like actual Huns because Huns descended from Xiongnu tribes, north of China. Xiongnu looks like Mongolians as well. When Atilla the Hun invaded Europe, the descriptions of Huns were noted and it matched Turkic/Mongolian looking people rather than modern hungarian. Hungarians are like Modern day turkey people. People of the Turkey doesn't look like Turks but they call themselves Turkish. They took the identity of Turks. Modern Turkey people is a mixture of Europeans and Turks. Turks and Mongols looked extremely similar in the past.
Yes - we all have evolved from old civilisations and their origins belong to the ones of Huns and trust me Hungarians are VERY product of that. I lived in Hungary as well for a while.
@@zuzanareacts Of course. Another similar example of hungarians are Pakistanis. Pakistanis are nothing but pre independent Indian muslims. But their identity is based on Turks because of Turkic invasion of India. They identify themselves with them unlike Indians.
Indian kings were the most fearless kings in the world which feared big emperors and kings from other parts and even changis khan to conquer his neighbor country , what if they worked together instead of just protecting the particular region, then invasions would have been a lot difficult then it was for the mughal as well as british Empire, ❤❤
There is a question you can take is as a hint, can you tell me that if you are living in a village with no facilities, then where are you likely to go to get all the facilities( in a city). That's what bharat was to all the world , a city, bharat' s presence was very vibrant. The most appropriate example is ' us' the people who are the part of this great civilization. There is hardly any civilization in the whole world which is still thriving to this date. Bhartiya civilization is world's oldest civilization.
What we know as Metallurgy today actually started in ancient India. India was a manufacturing superpower until the 18th century contributing to over 25% of global GDP and during the Gupta Empire, Indian subcontinent contributed to 50% of global GDP. Indian swords were famed across the world which later came to be known as the Damascus swords. When the renowned Chinese traveller Fa Hien visited India during Chandragupta Vikramaditya's reign, he wrote in his book *there's not a single poor person in this enchanting land.* Fa Hien's book bears testimony to what ancient India really was. We were a superpower for millennia until the ba$tard Brits looted us of everything, the most important being our culture and self esteem

Sad thing is that tradions can be reclaimed, culture can be restored, art can flourish again, similar structure might be erected with skill and patience, history can be retaught, same education can be continued. But the knowledge We lost, the communities and local dialects & languages which perished during invasions and the burning of books which contained immense knowledge, more than half of which we don't even have idea what topic they were about, is lost forever. Everyday i wish i can turn back time or get chace for one day to retrieve as many books as i can. Because we know that whatever books and scriptures that we are left with, have informed about travels all over the world. If all those books were present today, we would not only know about indian but also about world's all civilizations. Because we already have books which talked about inca tribe's area, mount miru of africa, Turkmenistan, of frozen sea in steppes, of south east asia, islands of Indonesia, sunken islands east of maldives and west of sri lanka. So much have been lost. Including the record of family tree of kings from all over the world.

there are two types of Huns the ones who invaded Bharat were Chinese Huns, not the Hungarians. but later after the Chinese Huns were defeated they became part of Bharat.
I can understand her confusion because the Dharmic understanding of what we call Parmatma, or all-pervading consciousness in Eastern cultures, and especially in Bharat, is the polar opposite of how they understand their definition of God. And since there is only one singular definition available, it becomes difficult for them to understand the millions of definitions and names we have for supreme consciousness. So her thinking that if someone worships Lord Vishnu and is attacking other kingdoms, which could be the worshippers of any of our 33 million gods or goddesses, then the primary objective of the former is to impose his god on the latter, is a very rudimentary and hilarious idea. I neither blame the narrator nor her for failing to understand that because most of the wars they have witnessed or read in their history for the last 1500 years are all about one Abrahamic God vs. another interpretation of the same God. They will have to acquire an Indian mind to understand our culture which only a few can do because there is not one single definition that defines our civilization.
hunic tribe originated near lake baikal north of mongolia ( occupeied mongolian territory in russia), Huns are ancestors of mongol and turks, huns raided roman empire around same time frame when they were invading india in the east
The Brahmins (The Priests) were also the scholarly class, for they had the knowledge of all the ancient texts that talked not just about philosophy and rituals but also warfare, strategies and mathematics. Hence they were also the advisors or consultants to the Kings. So, whenever a king would win a battle, he'd gift lands to Brahmins as reward for their services. As dynasties moved more towards the idea of currency and economics of trade, over time, it eventually created a wealth divide. It now meant that the Priests could hire peasants to work on their huge lands, or hire the warrior class to protect them/their land. As cities expanded, the tribals on the other hand couldn't find a fitting position/role in the societal structure of priests/warriors/traders/peasants and eventually became outcast.
According to the preson who made this video on our history, said caste system was impose by guptas on our society, caste system is a western concept, caste word is itself a Portuguese word. He mentioned aryabhata who discovered 0,number system, trigonometry, geometry, but According to present indian constitution aryabhata is considered a SC schedule caste or lower caste, so how come a lower caste person becomes rishi aryabhata and doing research on mathematics and new discovery in the field of mathematics. So the person doesn't know anything about indian history, just imposing a western template on us.
It wasn't led in the name of lord vishnu. Video says he was devotee of ord vishnu n shiva. No indian king ever laid wars in the name of gods as most of them used to follow the same dharma🙌
Yes, Even Augustus Caesar received buddhist missionaries ... At 13:53 You're describing Feudalism .... It was there in India as well .... Although most Indians will deny it and say india was an equal society which is false
There were no religious wars it is like a horse is left to roam and wherever horse goes the land comes under empire unless the local king wants to challenge and kills the horse of the empire if horse is killed then the king of that land stays independent but if he does nothing then it is understood he is under the emperor….. not wars in name of religion……. Religious wars are Abrahamic concepts not Indian concept
The most famcinating thing is that the culture remains and even todays Indian flag has ashoka chakra and the government emblem is also of ashoka. And this empire existed in B .C
Huns are not Hungarians. Huns were originally Mongols. They became more European as they migrated and interbred with Eastern Europeans. So it's more likely Huns became Hungarians.
*Correction - expansion of The Mighty Indian Maurya Empire. Bcos people only think that maurya empire was only upto afghanistan but that is factually wrong. Regarding Indian History, which unfortunately we r not taught correctly bcos of lost of so many information as libraries were burned by the Turkic invaders from Central Asia and with remaining information distortion was done by British which was designed in such a way that to make us feel inferior like Indians never went to foreign to conquer lands or there was hardly any pan India Empire and many things like these and later on it was continued and distorted more thanks to leftist. So the true extent of Maurya Empire is - Maurya Empire extended as far Egypt to Turkey to Greece in the west and in the north it extends to Central Asia to Western parts of China particularly Khotan region to other areas of China to as far Japan in the east. This was the true extent of Maurya Empire. Major Rock Edict XIII inscription clearly mentions about victory of Maurya Empire to as far Egypt to Turkey to Greece. And recently, an Indian statue of Buddha was found in egypt few months back. And Khotanese texts clearly talks about Maurya dominance over Central Asia and western part of China. And Ashok Stambh of Maurya Empires are still there in some parts of Japan, as these Maurya Stambhs were symbol of Maurya Empire dominance/influence. By the way Major Rock Edict XIII is the same inscription from which we get information regarding Kalinga War of Ashok but in the very same inscription ahead there is mention of victory of Maurya Empire to as far as Egypt to turkey to Greece. But these leftist historians ignore that. By the way the Chandragupta Maurya we all know is actually Samudragupta of Gupta Empire. This confusion happened bcos over 1380 years were deleted from Indian history in order to fit into biblical timeline of 2000-4000 years with other distortion. This is why ancient india is very confusing and not in a proper chronological order. If you read greek texts, they mention Indian King Sandrocottus, who defeated Greek Commander Selecus Nicator and established his dominance over eastern part of greek empire and the descritpion of Sandrocottus is exactly of Samudragupta. And both Indian texts and greek texts confirms it to be Samudragupta. By the way an extra info about the area of Gupta Empire was, Source : Prayag Prashshti Inscription - In the east it covered whole modern day Iran to Central Asia in the north to Sri Lanka in the south and South east asia nations in the South east and to Burma in the east. Prayag prashashti inscription gives clear information about Samudragupta and his military campaigns and how he fought more than 100 battles and lost none. Two Books I would recommend you to read - 1. Book : Bharat's Military Conquests in Foreign Land. Author : Venkatesh Rangan 2. Book : Chronology of India: From Mahabharata to Medieval Era - Vol I. Author : Vedveer Arya 3. Book : Chronology of India: From Mahabharata to Medieval Era - Vol II. Author : Vedveer Arya -> Book number 2 and 3, talks about missing years from Indian History. Over 1380 years have been deleted from indian History in order to adjust them to Biblical timeline of 2000-4000 years by British. Thats why there a lot of confusion fron the times of ancient Indian era to 12th century AD. Vedveer Arya have exposed that. And he has also given talks regarding this on RUclips platform.
Chandragupta II (r.c. 375-415), also known by his title Vikramaditya, as well as Chandragupta Vikramaditya, was the third ruler of the Gupta Empire in India, and was one of the most powerful emperors of the Indian history ..... Old historians believed that Huns originated from Kazakhstan which is in today's central Asia. They arrived in southern Europe around 370 A.D. and started conquering one territory after another. Some recent updated studies on this subject reveals that Attila the Hun was born n grew up in a Hun community somewhere near north of Hungary in today’s Europe. So I have doubts if Atilla can be claimed as an European from Europe or a conquerer of Europe from Kazakhstan from central Asia. Opinion may differ. Learning remains 🙏 Please try to learn about Chandragupta Mourya n his minister Chanakya. This will fascinate you.
Hans were not originally Indians they started following hindu religion only after the war after conquering........ The war was not in the name of Lord shiva though they started following Lord Shiva as their primary deity later on.
Huns were not really Hungarians. No one knows exactly where the Huns came from. Some scholars believe they originated from the nomad Xiongnu people who entered the historical record in 318 B.C. and terrorized China during the Qin Dynasty and during the later Han Dynasty. Other historians believe the Huns originated from Kazakhstan, or elsewhere in Asia. When they attacked regions in Europe, they may have intermingled/intermarried with Hungarians and others. The Huns came on the historical scene in Europe during the late 4th century A.D when, in 370 A.D., they crossed the Volga River and conquered the Alans, another civilization of nomadic, warring horsemen. We don't really know their origins because they were either illiterate and didn't know how to read or write. In any event no material written by them has ever been found. Everything written about them comes from people who were either conquered or invaded by them.
check out Attila the Hun - Hungarians are considered to be descendants of the Huns. We are taught they came from behind Ural - that is all that we are aware of.
The topic is complex from what I understand - when reading Slovak sources that are based on many different people who wrote about it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huns.
They did not fought on the name of God. They were just fighting to rule and their God were different. Interestingly, God Vishnu pray God Shiva and God Shiva pray God Vishnu😊. God Shiva is known as destroyer of world but people forget to mention that Shiv destroys negativity. He is the one who gave us the knowledge of Yog and Meditation and many more.
There is a difference when you say Christian/ Islamic invaders waged war in the name of their god and Hindu conqueror conquered land in the name of god. The former once conquered/ invaded will impose their religion and god forcefully onto people with other beliefs . But in the case of the latter the warcry is usually the god's name ..... Like har har Mahadev .......most of the Hindu kings didn't impose religion forcefully onto other people .
The western conqueres confused seeing thousands and thousands of elephants which are trained for war and thar elephant knows the difference of enemy and ally😂😂 and elephant alone used to fight them event though the driver dies😂😂
It was not in the name of God they worshipped vishnu it's very different, Vishnu is a hindu God and it doesn't mean that there were conquering to make people worship vishnu. I can understand your confusion but it's really different, people worship multiple gods here and everyone has a different god that they feel they are cinnected to. So basically they worshipped vishnu (one of the hindu Gods) just like anyone else would, but the the wats were for geopolitical power and expanding their empire. All of this is true for other Indian empires as well, I hope this helps.
Check out the history of India Every year, i hope you find ot very fascinating and interesting, i myself as a india never knew we were ruled by Greeks, scythians, Parthians, Huns, turkic and mongol descendants 😅
In ancient india there was never a war for religion. They treat all religions as equal. They had morals even at the war. There were no slaves. Citizens of a land are unharmed. Many kings and emperors considered themselves as servants of people. So the crusading type of attitude and behaviour is unheard of for them.
Gupta empire was the last powerful empire of Akhand Bharat. After Gupta empire, the Islamic invasion started and then Britisher came. Bharat stayed enslaved for 1200yrs. No ancient temples are left in North India due to invasions.
Eh in name of Vishnu is not exactly like religious war of the west. There were clashes among Vaishnav and Shaivaites but India had started the synthesis long ago. Gupta Kings had already tackled such issues and came up with concept like God HariHar (Hari= Vishnu, Har= Shiva) and started to enforce the idea that all gods are just different aspects or manifestation of the supreme. They actively promoted these ideas. One could choose the form they prefer, etc. Upanishads discuss god as the abstract entity and go in debates over the concept and nature of it. Hinduism easily allowed worship of Sagun ( with attributes aka idol) and Nirguna (abstract). With so many religious discussions and debates on going, it wouldn't leave much space to get many average citizens to get too hyped over it. Mihirakul could fight in name of Vaishnava but it wouldn't be that much of pull to masses as the religious wars in the West.
There use to be rules of engagements in war. No treachery. Citizens were left alone. Soldeir fought. Kshatriya Dharma was to be followed. One of the reason why India was defeated was because Indians were too much up in their heads about the rules of war. Outsiders did not give a shi*t about it.

I think the Hungarians would beg to differ. They are very proud of their Hun history - Attila the Hun. Hungarians are an anomaly in the region - they came and conquered the Slavic land and current-day Hungarians are their descendants. I also lived in Budapest for a while and know they are proud of this.

Aryabhata also discovered zero and wrote his famous book Aryabhatiya in the Gupta.
wow - thank you so much for sharing all of that, including your other comment.
Gupta Empire is also known as 'Golden age' in Indian History.
Indians were the one who used elephants in the war before anyone else @@malindudissanayake7458
I appreciate you sharing!
Thank you for sharing!

Before the Gupta Empire was the Maurya Empire which Defeated Alexander 🕉️🔥💪🏽🇮🇳🫶🏼
Alexander died in 323BC in Babylon, and Mauryan Empire founded a year later in 322BC. Alexander never even met a Mauryan Empire cause it didnt exist at his time.
@@malindudissanayake7458 It was Nanda empire that made Alexander's army fled India.
Difference is that they were remnants that lose third hunic war and hence werre assimilated. As in third hunic war they were driven out.

12:08 both are completely different
He didn't attacked those Kingdoms in name of Vishnu or any other God
And also there were no killings of local people or conversion like what was common in crusades .

When the renowned Chinese traveller Fa Hien visited India during Chandragupta Vikramaditya's reign, he wrote in his book *there's not a single poor person in this enchanting land.* Fa Hien's book bears testimony to what ancient India really was. there are two types of Huns the ones who invaded Bharat were Chinese Huns, not the Hungarians. but later after the Chinese Huns were defeated they became part of Bharat.
I appreciate you sharing and clarifying.
You saved me the time to elaborate. Thanks a lot... 🙏
Every thing you said is correct but one mistake
Its 33 koti(that means type of gods) not 33 million gods

*Correction -
expansion of The Mighty Indian Maurya Empire.

2. Book : Chronology of India: From Mahabharata to Medieval Era - Vol I. Author : Vedveer Arya
3. Book : Chronology of India: From Mahabharata to Medieval Era - Vol II. Author : Vedveer Arya

@@zuzanareacts This the best answer on the Huns.

The topic is complex from what I understand - when reading Slovak sources that are based on many different people who wrote about it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huns.
Another great vedio about kings is 'the great ashok' by 'kings and general' .
Thank you!
Did you know what Alexandra wrote in a letter he sent to his mother while fighting King Porus?
I did not :)
Wow great Information 👏🥳
We can't change history but we wish for a Good future of Humanity😊🙏
watch for more history, "The unmaking of India" ###🇮🇳😔
There is a difference when you say Christian/ Islamic invaders waged war in the name of their god and Hindu conqueror conquered land in the name of god. The former once conquered/ invaded will impose their religion and god forcefully onto people with other beliefs . But in the case of the latter the warcry is usually the god's name ..... Like har har Mahadev .......most of the Hindu kings didn't impose religion forcefully onto other people .
than you for sharing!
12:09 arent Crusades led against non believers?

I think you can pass our hardest exam IAS. you are reading so much about Indian history 😂.
Bharatvarsh is a long story 🇮🇳🙏
The Gupta Empire - The Golden Era of India.
The western conqueres confused seeing thousands and thousands of elephants which are trained for war and thar elephant knows the difference of enemy and ally😂😂 and elephant alone used to fight them event though the driver dies😂😂
wow - I was aware of war elephants before - but now it really came to life for me.
Make video about king vikramaditya Empire 🙏
It was not in the name of God they worshipped vishnu it's very different, Vishnu is a hindu God and it doesn't mean that there were conquering to make people worship vishnu. I can understand your confusion but it's really different, people worship multiple gods here and everyone has a different god that they feel they are cinnected to.
So basically they worshipped vishnu (one of the hindu Gods) just like anyone else would, but the the wats were for geopolitical power and expanding their empire.
All of this is true for other Indian empires as well, I hope this helps.
Bharat ❤
Check out the history of India Every year, i hope you find ot very fascinating and interesting, i myself as a india never knew we were ruled by Greeks, scythians, Parthians, Huns, turkic and mongol descendants 😅
is it called History of India Every year?
yes context is different
Awesome 👍
Thanks 🤗
In ancient india there was never a war for religion. They treat all religions as equal. They had morals even at the war. There were no slaves. Citizens of a land are unharmed. Many kings and emperors considered themselves as servants of people. So the crusading type of attitude and behaviour is unheard of for them.
There was nothing called religion in Bharat. Learn the difference between Dharma and Religion.
@@Medallionbexx yep. There was no religion in Bharat. I used the term "religion" for simplicity purpose.
I very much appreciate you sharing!
Do react to the maurya empire as well.
Don't come for me🤣🤣
There use to be rules of engagements in war. No treachery. Citizens were left alone. Soldeir fought. Kshatriya Dharma was to be followed. One of the reason why India was defeated was because Indians were too much up in their heads about the rules of war. Outsiders did not give a shi*t about it.
watch how the british looted india its a good video to show how rich india was before british

Nah u r wrong , the wars were not in name of religion but vishnu , shiva were the kul devtas or reverred gods . And yes india traded with greece and its wrong to attribute vasco d gama with its discovery . Huns are not Hungarians they were nomadic tribes of central asia who latter moved to east europe . And the narrator here is wrong the fluidity of caste system waa loat suring british period .
Hungarians are descendants of Huns - check out Attila the Hun!
@@zuzanareacts nah that's not what I meant they may be hungarians now but actually they were tribes of central asia who Invaded eastern Europe and people were already living there so all hungarians are not huns even I thought so . But huns blood line is also present in Bulgaria, Romania etc. .
I think the Hungarians would beg to differ. They are very proud of their Hun history - Attila the Hun. Hungarians are an anomaly in the region - they came and conquered the Slavic land and current-day Hungarians are their descendants. I also lived in Budapest for a while and know they are proud of this.
yes huns are powerful and they are defeated after a alliance of kings i wish kings could have allied to fight islamic invaders too 😔
