Good stuff guys. Arda Guler showed his class today. And yeah I really liked Joan Martinez much like everyone else, he looked solid defensively and smooth playing out of the back for a 16yr old. Hope he gets given minutes here and there with the first team, even if it’s just training with them and maybe making a late cameo in a Copa del Rey match this season. He’s got a slightly different game to a young Ramos but yeah I get it, the long hair and impressive physique for his age naturally draws those comparisons. Not much more to say - you described it best: it was a watered down pre-season game so it’s as meaningless as meaningless gets. On to the next.
There's no way we're looking at the rebirth of Vallejo, the guy is so bad with and without the ball in the game yesterday, even Granada didn't want him to stay and he was a sub for the majority of the year, I really prefer to give one of the Castilla CB the minutes Carlo willing to give to Vallejo

@@alexab543 thanks finally someone who agrees with me. I’m sure he’s a fine person outside of the futbol talk, but he is NOT the right person to be getting all this inclusion with Kiyan. Dude has mediocre analysis of the game and he always gave off glory hunter vibes. Also he doesn’t even understand how weird it is for him to be hopping on zoom calls while shirtless with Kiyan to give alll us fans some content. Like bro nobody taking you seriously.
@@americanninja793Apart from hyper focusing on his mistakes in a preseason game and being quite young, I also thought he was promising, some of his touches and tackles indicated to me that he has some potential.
We are screwed if we have to rely on Vallejo as our (guaranteed to happen) emergency season long replacement. Vallejo is NOT good anymore. People are giving him too much credit. Just a weird scenario for the best club in the world. Can’t buy a proper cb I guess….
Kiyan’s challenge imo is that there is no one who really is on his level of analysis. So he either has to do it alone or dumb it down with someone of lower intellect. Matt and Eduardo are the only other smart ones on staff but they aren’t on as much

@@rizmack I agree but I’ll also continue supporting because I’m supporting Kiyan and think he deserves it. I’m hoping we see more of Matt and other journalists who work for espn, the athletic, etc. I’m not a fan of Lucas but I do enjoy the mailbags they are entertaining
