I think Sharp was the first one, and people were amazed at the concept that they could video themselves (not realizing that they could have been doing it all along!). When I was videoing other things, I was just a normal tourist recording images, but when I turned the camera on myself, that caused quite a sensation at times.
Incidentally, is the icon okay on this now? It's caused me a huge headache. I attempted to change it from that hideous picture of the glass of coffee and that highly irritating RUclips (occasional) issue of a broken (no image) icon reared its ugly head. I had to play back the video, do a screen grab, edit the image, change the format, import it, etc. VFI!!!! I wish the icon feature would never break - it's a huge time-burning headache when it does!

Yeah, my only complaint with Doutor coffee back in the day is how many people went there to smoke! I loved their sandwiches and often had lunch there. When Starbucks came along, I went there specifically to escape the cigarette smokers! Recently I hardly ever go to either place, although sometimes I go to the Doutor in Shinjuku Station.

人通りが多いな〜！26歳の頃か…32年前か…今住んでるんですけど、こんな池袋になるとは思わなかったなぁ。
ここに写っているサラリーマンの大半がもう定年しているんだな。この時代に現役サラリーマンだったのは
ある意味羨ましい。俺はこの3年後就活。氷河期一年生だった、劣悪な条件でも仕方なく就職。倒産・解雇、退職を
繰り返し、ようやく何とかやっているがもう51歳だ。
懐かしい。まだこのころは少年だったけど。街の作りは今とほぼ同じだから、どの映像がどの場所かわかってタイムスリップしたみたいな気持ちになる。
私が子供時代だったからというのもありますが、この頃の池袋はとてもいい街でしたよ。
たまに親や祖母に連れられて来たときはワクワクしたものです。
クールビスもなく日本の夏がまだ涼しかったころ。Windows95もなかったので特殊な人以外ネットとは無縁の生活で雑誌が情報源

今の池袋は大きな集合施設が続々できてきてはいますが、勘違いしているというか、そのうち借金火の車になっていくのが目にみえています。アニメオタクだけで流行る訳がないし、オタクのお財布事情、埼玉県民だけで回していける訳がない。平日はほんとにガラガラの人通り･･･ハレザやカプコンQプラザなどそのうち無くなるでしょう･･･西口のマルイ跡地にも集合施設ができるようですが、駅から遠いしすぐダメになるでしょう。
池袋は小汚い地元の商店がゴチャゴチャとあった方が人が来る。91年の頃が最盛期最終形態といっていいでしょうｗ
平日でも自転車で通れないくらいには混んでますよ。昔が懐かしいのはわかりますが、豊島区の再開発はうまく行っており評判がいいです。オタク文化も積極的に取り入れてはいるが、品格も兼ね備えてもいる、そういう街になりました。今やオタクの街は秋葉原から池袋になりつつあります。

どこの評判を拾ってるのか分かりませんが、自転車で通れないなんてことはまずありません。今も相変わらずガラガラ。
外国人が増えて一見そう見えるだけ、東口界隈の出店事情、不動産事情…よくないです。東急が1等地を手放した件といい、東口界隈に限って言えば結局地方のフランチャイズが池袋に出店してきたとかどこかでみた業態ばかり。
考え方人それぞれですが、再開発したって先細りのコンテンツばかり増やした所で、飽きられるのは時間の問題。
映画館あんなにいりますか？デパートすら100均が入る時代、若者が一着1万円のTシャツをサンシャインシティで買おうと思いますか？どうしてコンカフェが池袋で流行るか理解してますか？
外国人観光客から金を回収しようと思ってるかも知れんけど宗教観や採寸がそもそも違うのにデパートやショッピングモールで日本人向けにリサイズされた服を外国人が買うわけはない。
ましてや今やネットで充分。
つまり人通りがあることと、金の流れは全くの別問題。せめて濡れずにサンシャインまで行ければねー。
@@ちゃんみか-o2i 二十年ほど池袋に住んでいますが、そこまで人の多さは変わったと感じません。実際、池袋駅は乗降者数世界二位です。人が減っているわけないんです。むしろ昔に比べて増加しています。ラビ前の交差点あたりはいつも自転車で通るのに苦労してます。
豊島区はハレザ、エコミューゼタウン、グローバルリングなどの再開発やオタク文化の押し出し、子育て支援を行い、住みたい街ランキングでは上位になるまで住みやすくきれいな街になりました。
まだ薄汚れた場所もありますが東口を生活圏内にしてれば快適に暮らせます。
そして、サンシャインシティとタワーマンションが直結してるのは御存知ですか？
東池袋はタワーマンションが次々立ち並びどの物件も資産価値は他の都市と比べ急上昇しています。サンシャインシティへの動線は確保され、一定の富裕層は確保されている以上、まずサンシャインは大丈夫でしょう。子連れもよく見かける印象です。
映画館が多いのは同意です。
十年前に主要な映画館だったHUMAXはあの寂れ具合をみると直に潰れるでしょう。
混雑具合から見ると、ハレザとキュープラザの二人勝ち。
家電量販店も過剰すぎます。
ヨドバシが入ればガラガラだったヤマダは確実に潰れ、ビックカメラは窮地に陥るでしょう。
そして秋葉原のような街全体でオタク文化全面に押し出す(萌広告など)、街にマイナスのイメージがつくほどアニメアニメして擦っていません。せいぜいオタ活しやすい街(池ハロはx上で評判が良く、反響が大きかった)にしてくれてる程度です。
私が感じているのは
東口〜東池袋の再開発は順調で安泰。
西口北口は、現状東口で大体のことは済みますし、遠くて行きにくいのは事実です。豊島区の再開発、運営と今後の顧客層に順応できるか次第としか言えず、先行きが正直不安ですかね。
ニッチな高級品店は淘汰され、庶民〜準富裕層向けの店に変異していくだけのことでしょう。ガラガラといいますが、乗降者数が多い以上人流確保はされてます。需要にどう答え、変化していくかどうかだけの話です。
今は需要の変化によって街も変化してる最中です。いろんな店が撤退してることで廃れてるように見えますが(segaもドラッグストアになりました)、ヨドバシが喉から手が出るほど欲しがって無理やり西武を手に入れたんですよ。私はヨドバシ出店は反対ですが、そういう意味では捨てた街ではないということです。。
あなたが思っている以上に池袋は持続可能な街作りをしていると思っています。今の時代に二十年前の汚い池袋のままだったら確実に未来はなかったでしょう。
まあ豊島区自体が消滅自治体認定されてるから
東武の方が映ってないと思ったら……

@@2007spam 嘘つけ！ディスコは勿論、駅でも街中でもショルダーフォンなんて「見たことない」。80年代後半やバブル期はよく見たのは車電話。実際は車電話を装備してなくても見栄でアンテナ立ててる人がいた。大多数の人はショルダーフォンが発売になったことさえ「知らない」。
携帯もポケベルも誰も持ってないし、その頃は81年に発売になったテレカに置き換わってた時期。近くの公衆電話からコインで電話をかけ、テレカを持ってたらスマートと思われたくらいだ。
