    Terra has been fantastic so far. I love the quick connect cylinder. For me it isn’t a “downside” to not be able to use a third party cylinder. I wouldn’t try with something like CO2 in case something were to happen.
    I don’t understand the argument that with the art you can choose how much carbonation, since I think it’s something the user can add as little or as much as they want with most, if not all models.

    In my opinion the Art is the best model , best design and unlike the One Touch, it also allows you to add as much CO2 as you like and I love the Quick Connect feature. It just look great in the kitchen and is very practical, no cables and no useless automatic buttons, just my own opinion. Great video and incredibly usefull in helping make a good decision, thank you!

    I am considering between two models the Power that appears in a previous video and Art that is one of the latest models. Taking into account that one is electric, and that one comes with the most modern gas connection system, which model do you recommend? Which of the two has more premium finishes?

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  2 года назад +3

      Hey Andres - If you want more functionality and a premium finish, it is definitely going to be the Art. Regarding the quick connect CO2 cylinder, it is pretty slick and works as advertised. The Art does not require electricity and you can get it in many cool color options! Check them out here: amzn.to/37x21QS
      I would be a little cautious of the Power bc it might be difficult to get replacement parts or service since it is an older model.

    I'm new, looking to help my mom who is mostly interested in making colas. I was hoping to find out in this video if cheaper units will leave colas flat tasting? If I need to buy a certain type of unit with more power or different carbonation options to get a cola to be as fizzy and fresh as possible?

    • @Freshnss

    I got the Art and love the design, the handle and the quick connect. Im not concerned with trying to hack the system and use a 3rd party Co2. I seen someone on youtube using Co2 from a sporting goods store intended for paintball use. Be careful people some Co2 isn't food grade and could have lubricants and other chemicals in it. Stick with the soda stream Co2 or if you have to get Co2 for a bar room beer system, this way you know its food grade. Not cheap but in the long run you save a ton of money. I will stick with the sodastream Co2

    What do you think about the new DUO? I noticed it wasn't in the video.
    It uses both glass and plastic. Thanks.

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  2 года назад +2

      Hey Hotel Rooms Insider - Thank you for watching and excellent question! The Duo is great in that (as you noted) it uses both glass and plastic dishwasher-safe bottles, and is very compact so it fits just about anywhere, and is cordless. Some areas of pushback are that it uses the SodaStream Quick Connect CO2 cylinder - which is super convenient - but it pretty much takes using 3rd party refills off the table. Also, similarly to the SodaStream Aqua Fizz, not everyone likes that style of design where you insert the bottle into the cylinder and lock it up into the top (that is just a preference thing). Overall, it's a solid choice depending on what you want to do, check out some more stats here: amzn.to/3Qchrf9. Where are you located though, because you may not be able to get it in the US. A close alternative would be the Aqua Fizz here amzn.to/3MO7bXG

    I got the fizzy one touch almost 1 year ago to the day. I use it every single evening. Today when I unscrewed the cylinder to replace it, two small rubber seals, a small tube and a plastic part all fell out of it. Could not figure out what went where, or what goes back in first. Been looking on line for an assembly diagram. No luck.

    • @Freshnss
      @Freshnss  2 года назад +2

      Here is a link to the user manual with some diagrams, www.manualslib.com/manual/2057288/Sodastream-Fizzi-One-Touch.html. But I don't think you are going to find a detailed parts schematic that outlines the internal components of the One Touch as you need (I could be wrong). The SodaStreams have a 2 year warranty though, and this sounds like something you may want to contact them for to either fix or replace the problem you describe.
      If you try SodaStream and they cannot fix/replace it under the warranty, come back to me and I will do more digging into how to get you squared away.

    My 3 month Art sparkling water maker is already leaking from one of the seals. They have no guide or video for the Art SodaStream on how to dismantle or fix the problem. My rating for the art is low. The machine is expensive, and so are the CO2 cartridges.
