Hi, thanks a lot for watching! Yes, I buy original from Sodastream. It is now about 8€. Sometimes there are discounts, and it costs around 6€. But this is refill price - when you give back an empty bottle and receive back a full one. If you don't have a cylinder bottle and want to buy a new one with gas, the price is between 25 and 30 €. I hope it helps.
You made a very good video, easy to understand the differences from Sodastream. I do have two questions : - Are you using tap water, filtered or bottled water. - Your opinion on the BRITA sodaTRIO.
Thank you very much for your feedback!) It is important to receive it :) I use filtered water (Brita and LARQ - I want to do an overview as well in the near future) As for BRITA sodaTrio - I did not learn that much. From the first glance - nice design. The fact that you can regulate how much sparkling you get at the end - ok, but you can do same with Sodastream, just press longer or shorter and voila :) Also good thing is that there is no plastic option for bottles (glass or metal). I hope it helps a bit. I hope you stay with my channel further 😀
I was looking at the zero calorie grapefruit soda. Confused about one thing. One is presented as "syrup" and another says "drink mix". What is the difference?
@@tse_reviews Sodastream kit arrived. I can't believe how awful the diet grapefruit and raspberry cranberry taste. Even with the full amount of syrup, they're lousy. Am hoping I can concoct my own diet grapefruit using a drink mix packet that contains just grapefruit and grapefruit oil and add splenda as the sweetener.
Please explain what is the difference between original cola sold in the shop and this one? What is the point to buy this sodastream and waste time to prepare the same drink?
Hi, thanks for asking! The main differences are the following: 1. You always have a drink although you forgot to buy or want it in the middle of the night (or Sunday, in Germany all shops are closed). 2. You don't have to carry bottles, especially if you don't have a car. 3. You don't waste plastic from all the bottles you would have bought if you did not have it at home. 4. In addition, you can just prepare sparkling water, add lemon or smth. I hope it helps :)
I was not aware that the pink ones are different than the regular ones, thank you for telling that. There is one important aspect that's in favor of the Duo: the glass bottles, which only work for the Duo. One weak point with the other kinds, is that the bottles eventually fall apart and become unable to hold their fizz. The glass bottles should last indefinitely, if heavy and potentially fragile. Or so I learned.
@@tse_reviews - I "can" follow the manual...? Do you recommend NOT follow the manual from the producer of the product? Shouldn't YOU follow the manual of a product you're "showcasing"? *confused*
I was wondering about this. Artificial flavours like aspartame are indeed far worse than sugar. It's very important that people are informed about this. Don't fall for the "no-sugar" hype.

the compartment for the bottles in duo and crystal are for the glas bottles if they would burst that you are protected (required by law)
👍thanks for providing us with some insights!)
Exactly!
Use unscented denture cleaning tablets (like Polident) to clean bottles. I use them all the time.
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
I got the duo as a present 🤗😉
Great, congratulations!))) I hope you'll like it
Can you us the .5L bottles in the Duo?
No, I believe it's only 1L, the bottle that is normally comes in the pack
Nice review. I know it’s 2 years ago but did you say you pay between €6 and €8 for the CO2?

@@tse_reviews Wow so much cheaper than here in Ireland. €20 for a refill and €30 for a brand new cartridge?!
Crazy! Thanks for replying!
6-8€ refill, 25-30€ for a new full cylinder :)

@@tse_reviews Thanks for your answer.
What is stopping the glass bottles from being used in Sodastream Easy?
I don't have Easy already for a long time, but as I remember, it will just not fit.
This video was really helpful, thank you!
I'm glad to hear that, thanks for watching!)

Hm interesting question... the ones I saw were always drink syrup, I didn't see "drink mix"

they should call dua, v3
Thanks for watching!
@@tse_reviews cheers
The user manual for Sodastream Duo claims THREE 1-second push, not the one you did, claiming "...That sound means it's ready".
If the cylinder is full, it takes fewer seconds than when the cylinder is almost empty :) You can follow the manual. It's your choice

No sugar but has far worse Aspartame

I guess you're a flight attendant!? Right?
