    Great review!
    Any idea or estimate on how many hours it would run a normal house refrigerator?
    Thanks!

      I'll run tests like that soon on my fridge. Of course fridges are different but a very rough guess might be around 16+ hours. Do you know the watts used by your fridge over an hour? LMK if you have more questions.

      I've seen videos where it runs 14-16 hours however you can run it longer if you unplug the fridge every 4 hours or so and can have infinite power if you can get enough solar power in. But worse case about 14 hours just plugged in

    Hello thanks for the video. The main question which is the noise. When you plug in like 50W AC, will the fans directly start? What happens if you increase the power? It would be very interessting to display the depandency of load an fan noice.

    • @solarguy
      @solarguy  Год назад

      The fans will spin because of heat not necessarily because of load. Obviously there is a connection between the two but air temperature and temperature of the unit (say it's in the sun) will also affect the fan spinning as the unit aims to stay cool.

      @@solarguySorry, the fans only spin because of load! The load determines the heat which is generated in the electronics. If the electronics are off you do not need to cool them. There is a huge difference between 10W and 1000W load! So this question is important. If you have just connected a small LED (AC usage) and there is fan noise, it is very annoying. Compared to other systems this seems to be a problem and I wonder if they patch it. At least would be nice to know, how loud it is with small load.

      The was reported as being very noisy. EcoFlow could modify the firmware to try lesson the noise. The noise is about the only valid criticism of the Delta 2.

      I think we are on the same page. I was answering technically that heat is the reason for the fans spinning. For example, air temperature would be a factor too. But you are correct that a greater load on the inverter board causes more heat which then needs to be dissipated. To your first question, the D2 I have seems to spin the fans (at about 70F room temp) at around 105W of AC output.

    Have you tried charging with solar over 500w?

    • @solarguy
      @solarguy  Год назад +1

      I've charged it up with a 335w solar panel but I haven't run all of the tests yet (like max solar input) but I plan to soon.

    How to turn on Bluetooth? Mine instantly asked for wifi, but not Bluetooth. Also how to change hertz?

    • @solarguy
      @solarguy  10 месяцев назад +1

      Bluetooth is on all of the time. I haven't tried to change the frequency. If it has that ability it would be in the APP.

    • @kryos0627
      @kryos0627 10 месяцев назад

      @solarguy I figured it out, for bluetooth you just deny the wifi and it will connect to bluetooth, for hertz change you hold down the AC button for around 10 seconds and it will change. These things they should explain on the delta 2 instructions.

    to bad it is very loud when charging ...........still hesitate to buy it because of that ......

      Why not just setup lower charging watts to reduce the effect?

    • @royrobinson4636
      @royrobinson4636 Год назад +1

      @@evertigo ~ That's exactly what I did. Using the app, I reduced the charging watts from a factory set max of 1200 to 1000 watts. Using solar power (primarily) to recharge your Delta 2 you can also reduce that setting as low as 500 watts which is the max D/C input charge rate, thus reducing the fan noise almost completely. 😎 It seems to me that being dependent on a wall outlet to recharge your solar generator (aka power station) almost defeats the purpose of buying one.
