First Race (I finished) in Assetto Corsa VR

The first race I actually finished (ie didn't spin out so badly I gave up)
Assetto Corsa is a great racing sim for VR users and has a big mod scene with people making everything from new cars, tracks to weather and shader mods to make it look more realistic.

Got this game a while back. Seems like it's more geared towards those with a wheel setup, because with controller it's very twitchy. Looks cool in VR there. Impressive sound effects. My fave is that old Lotus F1 car (johnny walker livery I think). Just insane. Wouldn't say it's my fav racing game though. Again, with controller it's very limited.

Games more a basis for mods I'd say. I think most people who play it are playing modded. The custom shaders and sky/weather and post processing effects you can get can really change how this game looks. I'm running it close to stock though it's nice to get a solid 80FPS on my VR headset! Doesn't hurt the game is cheap now. I paid less than 20 bucks CAD on steam for the ultimate version with lots of dlc the base version was like 5 bucks
