Gotta say, amazing detail on the screw/bolt positioning, and part numbers..... you might be the most thorough DIY youtuber out there with your editing and completeness of every small detail. well done.
Thanks for this, man. At 3:50, when reassembling it seems like the vent connections can get disconnected so it’s good to make sure they’re both together before you screw the first few covers back on.
Paul, Thank You SO MUCH!!!! I have been trying to replace these dash lights for years. I’d make a little progress and then end up putting everything back together. After a few times of doing this I got pretty discouraged and haven’t tried since. I watched your FANTASTIC tutorial and NOW I’m finally confident that I can get this done. You Rock!!!! Best Regards, Jeff Goodson
Great video👍👍👍 I replaced the bulbs in mine and made a big difference. Just a little bit harder, due to the fact I have a automatic. Just had to move the shifter a few time to get the dash out and in. Video was a big help.
My light adjustor nob connector was almost impossible to take out. I didn't want to rip it out and the plastic is pretty old so I had to be careful. The cluster was hard to take out because my taco has a the shifter located on the steering wheel since it's an automatic. It took me 1 extra hour to do this job but by God I did it and now I have a blue color to my lights. It's worth it lol
This is the best video well explained perfect images of where the screws are located and perfect description of the led light bulb you are going to need. 👍🏻👍🏻
Love your videos. Also I see the headlights are a bit yellowed in the front I just used a Sylvania headlight restore kit on my 03 Camry and it made them look good as new. Great restoration product.
It's plastic, not glass. The instrument cluster is sealed, so there shouldn't be any dirt inside it. If you need to clean it, remove the gauges from the truck, and the cover is held on with a few screws.
will those dashboard LEDs fit in the slots for the gear indicators/warning lights etc? the D light on my 98 tacoma is out and I want to just make the whole dash LED
I haven't replaced them, so I don't know for sure. My guess is they'll be the smaller T5 size. I don't recommend using LED for indicator lights because the indicators will all be the wrong color.

I agree, very direct and to the point and the type of light bulbs used are going to make a big difference on the truck

Clear, concise, and no fluff.....thank you.

is there anyway to take the glass off the dash cover for cleaning?

"Passenger airbag" light can be replaced too?

It's my friend's Tacoma. It''s a nice little truck.
Когда будет про RAV4 видео?
I'm taking a break from the RAV4 and finishing a few other projects. I should get back to the RAV4 by the end of the year.
what did you press to turn the lights off and on at 3:19
Probably the headlights on and off toggle on the stalk lever
