When Jola & Fk spoke about the hosting on their podcast, I was hoping you would post it soon. Yayyyy
I really enjoyed this video. I feel Maz was the only one who actually understands what it is to be invited to someone's home - she didn't arrive empty handed! OK, I'm a Western but it is courtesy to take something with you when you are invited, eg; wine, chocolates, snacks, etc. I know Dimma didn't ask for it but look at her reaction when she said " Maz brought wine". Let's ditch tradition and move forward says this British older woman😊
Lol its courtesy right but Jola and Fk are both unserious people 😂😂. Even if they were told to bring something, FK Will not bring anything
This is actually a beautiful culture of the West that we imbibe but really our own courtesy comes different, they as well do their own hosting where they are prepared to cover all grounds and just have their guests cross leg and have a great time. So it’s all good really🤷🏾♀️

You are a great host.
Always a pleasure to watch your adventures Dimma. I’m getting settled in Sénégal and love the creativity. It’s the place of the original Jollof so I found a way to cheat - I prep the base on the stove and then when it’s time to add the rice I transfer the whole thing into a rice cooker and it cooks perfect without me having to look after it. Saves effort and it doesn’t burn my pots. I just add the meat/chicken on top at the end so it keeps warm.
