Define out of control. Sounds like paranoia to me. AI has risks, and it should be regulated, but not indiscriminately. There need to be clear guidelines set forth on when it should be regulated and how with clear criteria on what is regarded as "safe" and "fair" which are inherently subjective. These terms will vary with their benchmarks depending on the use case that AI is applied to.
