A buddy of mine sparred with Clint several times. He said he didn't have a good chin, but could cover up ok. He'd been ko'd in sparring,

He looked like a hot southpaw with a punishing uppercut but in his first loss he kind of looked burnt out but he had some slashing shots to give it looked when he rocked him he should have taken him out that separates the great from the fair but great bar burner

Clint's chin seemed alright here, but he didn't have the footwork to get himself out of trouble. He couldn't control spacing & distance during a fight - he just covered up & stood there absorbing punishment - just my opinion.

There's the immovable object against the irresistible force. In this case, it is the immovable object against the immovable object.

Pretty good fight! Flint Jackson by this time was in the amateurs too long! Fletcher was to come forward classical Philly fighter! I'm surprised that Clint Jackson didn't throw any more punches than he did! Frank Fletcher was hurt and Rocked continuously but it was his heart that pulled it out!

I’d go 10-8 on a couple of rounds where Fletcher is the only one throwing punches. Excellent bout!

I have two comments or questions rather who in the world ever decided that Ferdie Pacheco knew anything about boxing and two did Fletcher ever win a big

That was a hell of a slugfest. Fletcher's eye was done by round 8 but Jackson was gassed. Fletcher would have been dropped by Hagler but held on to win

jackson fought the smarter fight, but fletcher just didn't run out of gas.

Every phone booth boxing match is a special unique skill. When two boxers like this try to put the fans to sleep instead of your opponent Then its time to click on a more exciting boxing match.

Albert and Pacheco (no surprise with Ferdie...the WORST boxing color man in the history of boxing on television), all hyped up with their Golden Ticket Fletcher, missed almost all of the work Clint was doing in the first 2 rounds. Yes, Fletcher was a windmill but Clint was landing some very hard shots as well. In the second round, he landed an uppercut that almost tore Fletcher's head off and the broadcast team said nothing! A great slugfest and I think if Jackson had just upped his punching rate a bit, he would have won easily.

Pacheco has got to be the most arrogant , ignorant of all the arrogant, ignorant people I've known to try to call a fight...he is more of a joke than cosell
