We do love pickups here, and it’s time for two on either end of the scale to battle it out!
In this drag race, we got the Shelby F-150 Super Snake to go up against a Monster Pro Lite - a lightweight racing truck!
Let’s take a look at the stats for both - first off, the Shelby F-150 Super Snake. Based on a Ford F-150, it has a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that develops 770hp and 868Nm of torque. That power is sent to all four wheels by a 10-speed automatic transmission, but it does weigh a hefty 2,198kg. This model is from 2021 and costs £105,000.
At the other end of the scale, the Monster Pro Lite trophy truck weighs just 1,400kg - less than a Porsche 911 - and costs around £30,000. It packs quite a punch though, with the small block V8 from Ford putting out 450hp and is paired to a 3-speed semi-automatic transmission sending the power to the rear wheels.
While the Super Snake has all the power figures in its favour, the Monster Pro Lite is stripped out and could spring a surprise on the monstrous F-150. But you’ll have to watch to find out who wins… LET’S RACE!!

Yanni and Mat laughing throughout the video is truly energetic and awesome to watch. As many have said, you 2 would be a great host duo for an all new car show. Personality is right there and your popularity is second to none. I am Australian but if it was in Europe only (BBC), I would get DVD's and watch it. Best car comedian channel ever, in my opinion! This was so damn good. Matt is an outstanding host and in my eyes, irreplaceable for carwow. But in an alternate universe, I can see a throttle house of sorts with both Matt and Yanny as co-host. There is a true, legit excitment when the Video starts up and Yanny is there. 🤙🏼

Happy days... Luke Woodham on Carwow, now that is wow, the man's a legend. I've been lucky enough to go for a passenger lap with Luke in the Prolight truck, it's some machine. You should get him back in his V8 powered Nissan S14 drift car, that car is another weapon, would love to see Matt going for a passenger spin in it, or even better, get him to teach you how to drift 🔥
