Coat D'arms Dark Brown seemed solid! It was fun to see a good review of these. I will stick to my oil washes tho :)

Thanks for an interesting review. Inclined to give this a miss and stick with my existing washes.

I can't really recommend these over the Army Painter or GW washes. Happy to have done the experiment though.

Still a better price per volume for the bottle than citadel . No idea why people buy over priced stuff

No doubt that Citadel is very expensive in comparison!

It looks significantly worse than citadel and army painter so you get what you pay for lol

@@porcu12345 I think Army Painter probably shades it on value and results, so to speak!

The light brown wash might be nice to try creating rust effects with.

Interesting -- I tried a couple of the washes and didn't like them either. I use the rest of the CDA range a lot: their black is my go-to, the horse tones are good and there's a lot of nice 'military' colours. But the washes I did not get on with; I found them to be uneven at shading. I don't think I tried the one brown that you liked though.
I ended up settling on the two Vallejo Game Wash colours that come in 200ml bottles and just use those for everything now...

I quite like the CDA paints. They are a pretty good replacement for my old tall hex pots of Citadel from the 90s. Shame about these washes! Vallejo are on my list to test out now.

I was considering giving this a try but being that I already have Citadel, army Painter and a couple others after seeing your vid I'm gonna give it a pass

An exercise review but I'm not impressed by these so I'll stick with my normal washes

It was interesting to test them out. I don't think they will replace the Army Painter washes I mostly use.

@@CullodenPaintingStudio I'm currently using darkstar molten miniatures washes

@@basicminiaturepaintingoh I think I remember you sharing some pics of those washes at work on Facebook. They may get added to my list of washes to try. Also thinking about the Two Thin Coats range.
