1977 All-Ireland Senior Football Final Dublin v Armagh (Part 1)

- Dublin 5-12 : Armagh 3-06
The final is overshadowed by what is still regarded as the one of the best matches of all time -- the Dublin-Kerry semi-final. But it has its own claim to fame and ends up equalling the goal scoring record for a final. Dublin are hot favourites after the legendary win over Kerry but Armagh have come through as the north's first finalists since Down in 1968 and boast quality footballers such as Paddy Moriarty, Joe Kernan and Jimmy Smyth. This is the first all-ticket final in Croke Park's history and the only appearance of an Ulster team this decade.
Join us along with the legends of the Armagh 1977 team and the Heroes of the Armagh All Ireland winning 2002 team to talk all things Armagh and GAA. Ticket's £10 with all money going to Newry Hospice and the St Vincent de Paul Society.

Hi there, alas I don't have those games and would love to obtain them as you were quite right they were great games.I remember the 1980 match between Armagh and Roscommon, very high scoring indeed,2-20 to 3-11!I have many games from that era,the Dublin/Kerry games 75 to 79,the '80 all Ireland final,81,82,83,the '83 semi final between Cork and Dublin, draw and replay.
***** There were a lot of great semi finals played 1973-1985 which i would love to see again..I have a copy of Kerrys golden years which is nearly worn out by now, so its the semis not involving Kerry that i would really love to see..Ill keep a look out in future in case you might hopefully get them..Thanks for your reply
Fantastic penalty by Paddy Moriarty, absolute rocket.
Top quality upload.
It's this the same Paddy Moriarty that went missing in Australia?
