  • Moving Mountains is a New York-based indie rock band. Combining emotional vocals with elements of post-rock and emo, the band has often been compared to The Appleseed Cast.
The band was formed in Westchester, New York in 2005 by Gregory Dunn (guitar/vocals) and Nicholas Pizzolato (drums). A self-titled demo EP was leaked to the public in early 2006 and their debut album Pneuma was released independently in early 2007. Later that year, Frank Graniero (guitar/vocals) and Mitchell Lee (bass) completed the band's line-up. In 2008, Pneuma was reissued by Deep Elm.

Sounds about like the studio-version. That's pretty rad and tight. My all-time favorites.

I agree. That person must be crazy to think Greg's voice sucks. It's what makes their music so perfect all together. I've sat in my bedroom and listened to song after song over and over again looking for imperfections, and still to this day have found none. They are my idea of the PERFECT band.

Only just saw this after rewatching the video! I think it's just a '90's' and that can mean any year in 90-2000 I believe, you just got a 98' good job! :) Expensive guitars ha.

Strange. When this song surfaced I did not like it much. Then, suddenly, 'Waves' happened.. Kaboom, I can't stop listening. Another awesome album that I listen to every single day.

@lukasweiss9 It's a 69' telecaster thinline with a tortoise shell pick guard. I'm pretty sure it's a 69' from the pickups but it's a really nice natural finish.

@YellowDart22 This is drop D. They use capos a lot in other songs but normally the tuning is always standard.

@lukasweiss9 Not really, its just a natural finished one, they still make them in the classic series, but my guess is his is an older American Vintage, fender changes their colors offered quite often.
