Throwing the ball at the one yard line was the perfect element of surprise; that play was Wilson's fault, just like everything in Denver is his fault, and his teammates hate him. USC would have had 4 or 5 titles in the 2000s if the college playoff system existed.

As a Seahawks fan, I haven’t seen a defensive performance like that in a long time. Yeah I know the Giants offense is borderline XFL level, but it was definitely a much needed confidence booster.
Y'all are definitely getting into the playoffs to go out in the first round. Your schedule is very weak. Ravens, Eagles and 9ers twice are your only real games coming up. Maybe the cowboys, but they have been so inconsistent I don't feel comfortable calling them a tough team

Even more amazing is the fact they traded their franchise QB for 9 players essentially and the back up comes in and sets the single season passing record takes them to the post season and make s the pro bowl. Hawks improve to 6-0 in Metlife since it opened in 2010 and have the best MNF record ar 29-12. The defense played fantastic regardless of NYG offensive woes. It is nice being 3-1 going in to the bye week. Let's get healthier and build some momentum going forward.

They did make it to the playoffs over both the opponents they’ve played in these two games. Jones was higher rated and better payed than those two QBs starting this season and a healthy Saquon is a better weapon than any of their weapons.

He also turned a lot of pressures into positive plays with an O line that's struggling in both Pass protection and Run blocking. Respect where it's due, if that young man ever gets an O-line to stand behind he's gonna be a problem.

The defense looks like the Hawks Super Bowl team of 10 years ago. Granted, it was against a team with injuries on their O line, but a forced fumble deep in Giants territory, a pick 6. The Hawks looked good. Go Hawks!!
Doesn't matter if you're going up against starting o-linemen or their second string - it is HARD to get a sack in the NFL, no matter who you're lined up against. Granted, some of them were in blown coverage, like that first one to Witherspoon, but those chase downs, and the ability to bring down rushers in the backfield is such an accomplishment. The only knock against them was the loss of Jamal Adams on the first drive of the game. That man just cannot catch a break! That's the danger of his tackling style and aggressiveness. He doesn't wrap up, he lowers his shoulders to knock the ball carrier down, and he missed by slipping on the turf, and took a knee to the helmet. Glad they have the bye week to rest up and get set for the long haul stretch of the season.

This defense is different for us. Haven’t seen that in a loooong time. This felt great. I’m just happy we are 3-1 especially after such a performance.
