This is the most informative demo video I have ever seen! I'm seriously considering taking up the piano along with my guitar. If and when I do, THIS is the synth I am getting!
Hi there, just bought a Juno Gi, It seems to have a good cross-section of bread and butter sounds (similar to my X8) and with the layers and up to 4 splits should be great for live work. I was very surprised / disappointed to discover that there was no editor available for the Gi, it gives the impression that Roland did not take this keyboard seriously which is a real pity. Can you tell me if I use the zones, am I able to select a different MIDI channel for 'one' of the zones / parts so this can be played from my motherboard (Roland A33), or am I stuck with 4 parts allocated to the Gi keyboard with no access to any other sounds via MIDI? I know the Gi is 16 part multi timbal, but this precluded any splits / layers / zones etc I hope this made sense 😀 Thanks for the tutorials, although an editor would ha e been awesome! Kind regards, George Wood
Hello - i have a big problem and i can't find the solution on the Gi - how can i switch the function on which shows on the keyboard display which chord or note i am paying. it would be very very useful. many thanks
I never received any software with this. I was just about to sell it, but I "looked under the hood " and realized this is a monster production tool. I would love to see tge software bundle.
I have a doubt... Me and my friends just bought a Juno GI and its helping us a lot!!! But we couldn't find how to activate the click of the metronome. We've tried everything, , but nothing worked... Please, can someone help us???
Fica meu protesto! #JunoGI #Roland
A heads up to anyone considering buying this keyboard used. Roland has discontinued all product support for it. Even after I spent an hour tracking down and sending them my original receipt for the new one I bought in 2012 (because it was demanded for any response), their website (designed tech-wise circa 2002) ignored repeated questions. And the owners manual for the Juno GI is a horribly written piece of garbage.
Estuve a punto de desaserme de un juno Di, y es realmente asombroso el poder musical que tiene.

That music at the beginning was enough to turn me off right there.
Good demo, not meant to really show you how do to stuff, however.
What's the song at 9.42 ?
Is just a jam based on Van Halen's classic Jump
11:00 those quickbells are awesome! They sound like the music from HALO!
さすがだぜぇ👍JUNO-Gi
