- Blake, a four year old staffordshire bull terrier, recently completed our two week Board and Train. Blake did not want to listen to commands and wanted to do things on his own terms. Check out the video to see his transformation.

That’s amaze balls after two weeks with a four year old dog.
This is amazing. What a turn around. BEST BREED GOING!!!
I adopted a 6 year old staffie who lived 95% of her life on the floor with an addict in Bristol, prior to my rehoming. The only thing to work on was her recall and manners when in the house alone along with knowing when toys weren't hers. Borderline sniffer dog. They truly are a fantastic dog, they're so capable of learning and VERY fast. They love to work hard and equally love the rewards. Couldn't recommend a staffie to first time dog owners more.
OM Gosh, he's beautiful. What a handsome boy you have there.
Seeing this gives me heaps of hope I can train bad habits out of my staffy, I just need a trainer to do it. Archie is no where near as anxious as Blake looks. Thanks for the great video!
I bet you couldn’t stop my 6 year old staff jumping up at everyone and getting over excited when I have guests over 🤪
Joe Hand 91 challenge accepted. 😀 Are you in London?
Great work.
As the saying goes, There's nothing more delightful than a obedient dog, and nothing more miserable than a badly behaved one.
Lovely dog, love staffies, I have a 3 year old blue girl ❤️
Amazing work. Would be nice to see the training process :)
Thank you! Over 40+ hours goes into this training, which would make recording every moment a bit challenging. The trainers priorities are safety and training of the dog. Capturing video is secondary.
same!
Not very difficult to set up a gopro in a corner to video tape the basics? I'm pretty sure it starts of either inside or in a nice open area with little distractions.
I do understand videotaping training on actual walks is more difficult, although a first person gopro on a headmount would do the trick.
Brill, I had a male staffy sadly pts this year he was very challenging and pulled like a steam train as well
Thank you, but sorry your dog passed away.
He’s a beautiful big staffy almost Pitbull like, he looks just like my boy same size and everything
Immensely impressed well done!! X
Thank You!
Blake’s Just a goooodddd Booooy :)
Amazing to watch the transformation! Is that a black GPS tracker around his neck?
He’s gorgeous. We have a 5 month old blue girl training is coming on well. Is that an ecollar he had on? Aren’t they illegal in the uk as of 2018?
Hello,
Thank you for your comment, it's great to hear your pup's training is going well! We use E-Collars, which are not prohibited in the UK, throughout our training programmes.
Nice video and good stamp of dog,i bred a number of Irish blues similar to yours back in the late 90’s could you tell me if any of the names towards the back of your dogs pedigree have the prefix KK ?
Aww he’s gorgeous bless him 😍❤️ I’ve got 2 7month old staffs brother & sister but my boy is so hard to train & my girl is so easy to train 🤷🏼♀️ any tips misses 😂❤️👏🏻
Which collar is he being trained with in the video looks like it's taken him leaps and bounds, obviously also with the positive re-enforcement after
Our staffy is nearly 6 hes practically perfect in the house apart from his bouts of possessive aggression. He pulls like hell on his lead and when he is off it some days his recall is perfect others hes off like we don't exist! He has absolutely no interest in treats when you try to train him or praise him! Any advice? 🤣
Hi Louise! I’d recommend finding a trainer near you who can assist you! If you’re in our area, give us a call ☎️ 020 3890 3400
And Happy Holidays to you!
How long did it take
This was a two week board and train. However, after training, it is important that the owner(s) maintain the training.
Anybody help I have a staffy puppy with us 4 months I always hand her treats and food and place my hand in bowl etc so she never possessive over her food,,she’s well fed etc tonight I gave her the remains of a roast beef I made and when I rubbed her head while she had it in her mouth she growled,, any idea why? First time she did this and I have two small children so don’t want her doing that to them this is first time she has ever done anything like this she’s always very gentle
Sarah Mag Hi! We recommend any food you feed her is in her dog bowl. She sits until you release her to the food. Create boundaries and structure now. Start there. If the growling with treats continues, treats can be placed in bowl and she can have when you give her permission. We hope this helps you.
Off-Leash K9 Training London thank you so much this makes me feel better because usually I give them to her in her bowl but tonight I gave it to her on her bed that’s out in the sitroom thank you for replying I really appreciate it 🙏🙏🙏gunna watch a few of your videos and learn a few tricks thank you again
My other half named Blake 🙄but he's not as handsome as you're fella 😎🙃🇦🇺
