From the Blazblue and Persona dub cast making their return, to UNIB having their English dub debut, to RWBY having it's first fighting game, to the awesome interactions between the characters , plus new controls, distortions and the return of Astrals I'm pretty excited for this game.

The audio gap between teammates is unfortunate but overall I like what I see.

I'm very happy to see comments from people who are like "I only knew this series but now these others seem interesting to me." or "I came to see this character, but this other one I didn't even know before looks so cool/crazy/funny/sexy" what have you. That's what a good crossover is for in my opinion, you get the characters you already liked _and_ you get introduced characters and series you might also wind up liking.
And then there is "Jump Force"

@@tykalox5843 Same! I got this game primarily for the persona characters but once I got introduced to Hyde I fell for him and the rest of the UNIEL cast! I'm thankful to this game for that reason!
I love how the majority of people viewing this haven’t heard or played more than 1 game in this crossover
Granted, in terms of gaming, RWBY has only one game as far as I know and I'm not sure how popular the Blazblue series in at the west. At most, people will at least know Persona. It's just that one series with the giant arms old man that I don't know.
KrystCyclone That’s true be that as it may that’s part of the reason that I found it odd that this game was ported to the West. Fighting games are a niche genre that most casual skip out on so most of these characters aren’t recognizable

Obsolete Excellence they're trying to increase popularity in west. Hence the English dub returning and the simplified control scheme of the game
Quite frankly, that simplified control scheme is what bugs me (and most of the people I know that were looking forward to this game) the most. I'm surprised they didn't just take the BB control scheme, remove Crush Trigger and replace it with the Tag system.
Oh my god, when I saw Ruby fangirling all over Ragna's sword and he tells her off for that second was just a awesome moment because that is EXACTLY how that would happen.
I wonder how many times Yuri Lowenthal and Johnny Yong Bosch have been cast together, 'cause I feel like the answer will be 'a bit too much'.
Enough times that it's become a recognizable pattern with them.

BurningFox rwby used blazblue as a very strong inspiration. If you play blazblue the plot might remind you of rwby but in fact blazblue came out first.
And Makoto and Yang will probably have unique dialogue

I am always amazed by the fact that they managed to get characters from RWBY into this. If nothing else, someone at Arc System Works must be a Rooster Teeth fan. Ruby and Weiss do seem to fit pretty well into the BlazBlue feel, though - Ruby in particular looks like she's having the time of her life.
Still waiting for BlazBlue and Guilty Gear to cross paths.

Yeah I'm sure P5 will have all 3 main Persona series represented, no way they would miss an oppurtunity to have a older Investigation Team.

I don’t like how the persona cast call each other by their last names (Amagi , Satonaka, Narukami and hanamura)as if they aren’t close friends. In the actual persona games they always call each other buy their first names like Chie yu yukiko and yosuke
