The amount of engineering into this aircraft, from the airframe to the power system is amazing to see. I never imagined a model helicopter could achieve that power to weight ratio. Hats off to the pilot for demonstrating the amount of skill required to fly at those speeds with full control. Hearing the whine from the motor, and the hum from the main rotor blades makes it sound like a Ju-87 Stuka in a dive, or a pylon racer. GREAT FLYING!
Hearing "three lions on my shirt" at the start of this great video made me smile! I like the fast chopper very much as well as the great footage shot by the skilled camera person. Nice one!
From a aerodynamics and physics perspective, it is fairly easy to make a rigid rotor that can withstand the forces necessary to accomplish this type of speed in small scale. Scale that up and the added weight that accompanies scaling for people/safety, it become much more difficult to accomplish. Supersonic speeds are effectively being produced by the rotor, which can only be used in rigid rotor systems. Maybe one day we’ll see aircraft capable of what RC world already does today. That would be awesome!
Damn bro definitely SWEEEET. Blows my DJI’s AWAY lol.... Well different purposes too but awesome copter, I love seeing creative folks in this awesome hobby! Thanks for the video and Sharing. Liked and subscribed!
You are a very brave man by using just an o-ring to hold the flight and control batteries 0:12 when you pull up at the end of a run the G's must be huge and stress that band to the max, I hope my point is never proven :-) Amazing machine and thanks for sharing.
That was sick. I fly my blade 450 and i get down pretty good with her but she was 400$ not 4000$. And i dont even remotely posses the skill to do those 350 foot 200mph half pipe moves. That was sick.
200 is impressive, I didn't like the dive part, there are guys flying faster horizontal. A 220mm quad did 165mph on 6S (quadmovr), quite a bit smaller and no need for the dive part. Thanks for sharing.
Are they still using a 35Mhz system? I ask, as of all the clothes pegs on the board on the table, that looks exactly like the old 35Mhz flag control system we used to use before everyone went to 2.4Ghz. You take the peg corresponding to your frequency so everyone knows which frequencies are out and being used
I believe most fields still use the tag/peg system regardless to verify who is actively flying. Not necessarily for channels anymore since everyone should be flying 2.4 for safety reasons.
@@kazfpv5318 yeah I guess. Not flown on any fields large enough to warrant that kinda system. Usually it's only couple of dozen of us there and only a handful on the flightline at any one time. Anyone not on the flightline, cant fly.
Con motores tan potentes, es tiempo de pasar a los siguientes modelos en Aerodeslizadores. El concepto de avión y helicóptero ya son obsoletos, hay que pensar en la siguiente generación en naves.
Very impressive to say the least considering it is a heli! However, after watching 'in person' and online many, many RC aircraft do 200 mph plus, I can without a doubt say that this was NOT 198MPH, and actually IMO not even close. I would guesstimate it at around 140-150ish at most. But still quite impressive.
Setup's like this are usually $3000-$5000 USD. The electric motor is putting out around 15,000 - 20,000 watts. Or 20-25ish HP in a 12-14lb model. They are typically 14S 60volt lipo power systems and 200amp+ Variable freq 3 phase drives called Electronic Speed Controllers or ESC for short. Blade length is (probably) 717mm each blade plus the hub for around 1500mm total blade span made especially for this type of flight from high end hand lay carbon fiber and the tips of each blade are in excess of 350mph. Flight times at this rotorspeed and airspeed are probably 2 mins or less. Great flight!
i don't understand how one can fly those things on sight. i once build a quadcopter and i crashed it badly many time because i lost orientation when it went slightly to far away.
If I ever had the chance to fly that you guys would see the most epic rc helicopter crash in history
www.GPcarAudio.com iwant a demo 😂😂
MR'BASS MARC 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
😂😂😂😁😁😁😁😁😁
Lol that's awesome!
😂😂😂
Wow! That camera guy is a locked in on that thing!
German precision camera man.
The real hero is the camera person...
lol..
For real ! Everyone knows how hard it is to capture a rc model in camera !
And the pilot
R/praisethecameraman
He seriously kept up with a 300mph rc imagine his aim with a gun...lol
The sound is fabulous!
It sounds just like smaller helis on spool up
That's absolutely the fastest rc helicopter I have ever seen in my life. It is amazing that the rotor doesn't fly apart at full throttle.
It's the fastest anyone has seen, dumbass.
Shawn Dubay
I think the same thing every time I see any helicopter fly.
@@stuwest3653 😂

Wow...very faster flyght Helicopter RC Model,....Bravo.
Very faster flyght Helicopter RC Models are great aren't they?
I love it when things take flyght....bravo! I spelled it right!
Wenn er das so sagt, dann ist das so

Lmao speak English dumbass
Instead of getting your top speed diving straight down then leveling off, I want to know how fast you can go level the whole time.
@bcstractor GPS and Camera
...and when you find out your demand, then what?
It'd be same, only reason for dives is to shorten the time it takes
Do you?
Evidently you don't fly helis. So your opinion is pointless.
Hearing "three lions on my shirt" at the start of this great video made me smile! I like the fast chopper very much as well as the great footage shot by the skilled camera person. Nice one!
Blade sound is insane!! Flying it like a RC Pylon!!
Love the sound of it on the high speed fly bys.

Great work guys.... That thing is so cool & fast........
Alter Schwede ist das GEIL!!!✌👍👍👍🚀🚀
Camera man did an outstanding job filming this
Wow! That is some serious skill to keep that under control from start to stop. Those are some tight turns. Good job
Nice pilot skills!
Nice flight, smooth landing, but that *sound* :o
Awesome machine and flight👍👍👍 unbelievably fast!!! I subscribed.
Hell fire!!,it's a pylon racer helicopter!!👍✌
Wow! Do any of the simulators come close to this?
Looks like a flying leaf blower :D 🍃
One brushless beast 👍🏻
How fricking cool is that! Amazing
AWESOME TITLE BROOOOOOOOOOO
The sound of wind it makes is awesome
Very Very good vídeo , Brasil ok.
I bet, he enjoys the STUKA Sounds :D
The sound is very wonderful
Amazing machine and really impressive piloting
Fly's like a BOSS!
That pilot was awesome
Sounds like a spitfire with after burners 🤩👏
Wow! So fast. Should make a life size version
I'm wanting to know how many rpms the main rotor is turning? At some point dissymmetry of lift makes it uncontrolable.
At a guess the top guys are running 2700rpm+ on 700mm blades.
And it's not a saab goblin! 🤟🏾👍🏾💪🏾👊🏾✊🏾🤙🏾
Wowwww nice, beats drones

---> camera man :))))
Tremendous!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
A well good video to be fair well done 😉
FPV setup would be an awesome setup.

What are the numbered clothes pens that are on your set-up table used for?
So quiet.. was the Battery empty?
What is the board with the clothes pegs used for?
Frequency control most likely.
How fast was it clocked at?
Nice peg collection
Holy moly wow awesome
holy shit.....i'll take three of em.👍👍👍

😂 you're ridiculous
Super fast i like it
Awesome bro
Is it possible with big size model. I think its not possible.
Nice helicopter all u need todo is add some guns and a camara
It would be a good idea to replace the 10awg battery cable with 6awg and at least 8mm bullet connectors.
Retreating blade stall?
How does this not have retreating blade stall?
So its faster than a real apachi? Thats impressive ^^
It's a pity the sound of the motor keeps interrupting the lovely 'muzik' ne ? 😆
Wieviel km/h fliegt der denn, fantastisches Teil.
Ca.300kmh wenn es mich nicht täuscht ist auch bei uns im Verein
Muito bem rápido e ótimo comandos
Is that 16s?
Wow...... good helicopter....
Does anybody know the maximum top speed of a single rotor before one side loses lift?
very nice👍👍👍
This is awesome
Please could anyone tell me the best micro stunt (3D) chopper
Sounds like a WW2 plane!
Price of this helicopter sir

Amazing 😉
That Heli is stupid fast!
You should put a gopro camera on that dude.
That's impressive
Respect for that cameraman seeing it trough the clouds
So impressive
Wao great

What is its price ?

1:23 I sure want some *STUKA SOUNDED HELICOPTER!!!*
I genuinely can't understand the current fixation with quads. Less control, less energy efficiency. Can someone explain?
They are much cheaper both to buy and repair in a crash and are much easier to fly. I hate them too!
I think a racing quad can now beat the speed of this heli. But well done very fast heli
@@rainforestrc767 ok. Thanks.
Damn looks dope
