These guys were awesome. This is their peak too IMO. So many bands wanted to take the rap/metal/hip hop sound to the next level but just couldn't quite figure out how to stand out. These guys nailed it and they did it with superb musicianship! All of the musicians were such good players and they played so well together! I still have never seen a hard rock band integrate a DJ the way these guys were able to do it. Way ahead of their time. On top of that, they could write pop songs with hooks for days! No other American rock band has really been able to get to their level since. Last truly great American rock group...so far...
I really wish metal/rock bands came back with the whole turntables thing. Vein and Tallah are kind of bringing it back, but it's not as great as Incubus, Linkin park and Limp bizkit doing it

I think for a week I became insatiable but not exactly like Patty Bladell 😂. Kidding aside, Kris Kilmore is a killer DJ. The Spinmaster! Their performance did set ablaze the scene. A singular concentration of passion and ferocious technique.
Everyone is all pissed Dirk left and that's when incubus went downhill. But that is b.s. because the first album they made with Ben was a crow left of the murder, I'm my opinion their best album. So he certainly didn't bring them down

The bass makes me cringe. He is playing chords instead mute-slap style. As a bassist that can play this easily with only one year of experience this makes me cringe more.

This album was wrote to be preformed and improved live and I agree they peaked here. Still amazing.
