For about 2 weeks I've been having problems on Steam with my recently purchased games, the ones I already owned and were already downloaded are no problem, but I bought 3 new games and none of them open, I click on play and it doesn't even load the loading screen. it just says it's running but then closes again, I've done everything I saw on RUclips and nothing solved it, any tips to help me solve this problem?
@@noobinogaming728 hey i found a solution which worked for me. To solve this issue you have to change ur steam directory or reinstall steam in different directory
Here’s the first step every video like this should start with. Make sure your hdmi or whatever your monitor is using is plugged into the video card and not the motherboard. You’re welcome to the 1000 people I just helped lol. I wasted 2 weeks on this silly issue. Adding it to other videos to spread the word.
why would there be problems running Steam in the first place?? we were told that to run STEAM games we bought years ago, we are supposed to upgrade to WIN 10. ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT A LOT OF SOFTWARE DOESN'T NORMALLY run well on Windows 10, like SKYRIM?? then why the hell do I have to upgrade to windows 10?
Totally agree. My laptop upgraded to Win 11 and now all I find are links for what "might work" and none of them from Firaxis or Steam. Miss the days off putting a CD into the PC and fixing.
Got my game to work by installing to external gaming hard drive , dont know why It didnt work on my internal drive , any ideas ? The game is ( assetto corsa ).

Starfield, Turns out the problem i found was with the BIOS. Try defaulting the settings and see if that helps you. If not I was also getting a CPU error and it was getting too hot.. @@BXNNYM00N

sometimes its because of fail Graphic Driver, just clean uninstall Graphic Driver and Install driver from Windows Update only.

all steps did not work, reinstalled steam and dota still did not work. This issue started after the update extending the 10year anniversary event
