    Helpful teaching.
Personally, I think the most relevant of all the passages that John Piper mentioned is Matt 16:18, where Jesus says plainly, with no ifs or buts, that he will build his church and Satan will not overpower it.
One way or another, he will get this job done. And any leaders that are necessary for this to happen, he will raise up.
All is well on this front.

Tim Keller was not a hero of the Christian faith. This questioner is sadly deceived.

Yes, it's comical that there can be an Evolution believing "pastor"........ (like Tim Keller)

      Genesis 1:14-18
"14 And God( 😊100%❤) said, " Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,
15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so.
16 And God made the two great lights- the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night- and the stars.
17 And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,
18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that is was good😊❤.
19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day."( Genesis 1:14-19 ESV)
      Matthew 1:17
"17 So all the generations from Abraham(😊❤) to David(😊❤) were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the departation to Babylon to Christ( Jesus.
😊1st❤) fourteen generation."( Matthew 1:17 ESV)
      In Matthew 1:17
" fourteen generation" "Matthew does not mean all the generatiob that had lived during those time but " all" that he included in his list( for he evidently skipped some, such as three generation between Joram and Uzziah(Azariah) in Matthew 1:8; ...1 Chronicle 3:10-12).
Note on Matthew 1:6b-11). Perhaps for ease of memorization, or perhaps for literary or symbolic symmetry,
Matthew structures the genealogy to count 14 generation from each major section." "( According to the Jewish practice of gematria, the giving of a numeric value to the consonants in a word, David's name would add to D + V + D or
      4 + 6 +4= 14, and David is the 14th name of the list.) "( ESV)

Piper: for the next election, can you remember that human life doesn’t lose value just because you find a candidate’s personality repulsive? This includes life in the womb.

Did you not hear him talk about the books of Kings? Did you not hear him talk about Abraham and Sarah? The one who sits in the seat of the president is the one the Lord wants there for His purposes. So, vote for who you want remembering that the Lord, not John Piper, but the Lord has the last say.

@@DrWren-ei4no Too bad Piper doesn’t know that. He purposely swayed the election toward Biden via his hostility toward the one Christian ally we had. Of course all leaders are ordained of God. And God uses us to effect change, which is exactly what Piper did, and what I’m doing now.
