I think the polar bear plunge and the camels were my favourite parts as well as the information on the bus ride as well as knowing what's included in the ticket cost.
Yeah, I wanted to give a practical overview of what the place is all about. Most people would probably. Miss some of the helpful things like the bus tour from the get go, etc.
I could really feel the SIZE and the HEAT of the park while you wandered around and omg that sad elephant was SO sad ☹ "The science of refraction brought to you by a Polar Bear's butt!" 😄 also: the musical interlude over the last Skyfari ride was SO good, as usual!
If they're open from 9-9 and you can't get there early and the the animals basically hide from the sun during the day, would coming later in the evening be better? Like 6 or 7pm?
Yes, I think that would be a good option as well! They actually have "evenings" in the summer where you can come after dusk, and I'd bet things are a bit more lively then.
I'd say earlier the better. I was there around mid day on a weekday, so busy, but not crazy. I'd bet on weekends and holidays the waits are far longer.

I wasn't even sure if "refraction" was the right term, but I went with it. 😂
So top, right of the bus ia the best spot then. Noted. Also, sunblock and a hat. Also noted. Lol
Correct on all accounts! 😂 Though I had SPF 50 on at the zoo and even it didn't completely prevent a burn after 3-4 hours.

What time did you get there? Would getting there earlier than later mean a shorter line for the bus tour? Or is 30 minutes considered reasonable?
