Apologies, there was a bug with the subtitles, so some parts were missing, including the hat buying experience. This is now fixed :) Thanks for watching!
Loreto is a fantastic city, with a TON of history. There's even some beautiful islands you can go visit on a day trip (I mentioned them briefly) that I'd recommend, even though I didn't get to go myself.
Entonces, ¡me alegro mucho de que te haya gustado! ¡Espero que veas también algunos de mis otros videos! ------ then you very much, glad you enjoyed it! Hope you check out some of my other videos too!
Thanks Yoda! I am glad watching, you are and enjoying, you are. 😉 I really appreciate it, and hope you find the rest of Baja (and beyond!) just as interesting!
Thanks for the video going there in 2025 and wanted to see the area. You did a great job! Very down to earth. And you told me more information than anyone else!
Glad you enjoyed it! There's a full playlist of all my Mexico videos, starting Tijuana, and working my way through the country. All the best, thanks for watching! ✌️
My wife and I have a time share near Cabo San Jose but we never go to San Lucas anymore. Too crazy, too much hustle. Hoping to go up to Lareto on our next trip down to BCS. Started visiting Mexico 35 years ago and have never had a bad experience except when we came back into California just north of Mexicali. Thinking about retiring somewhere in Baja that is not overrun by Gringoes, golf courses and gated communities.
Todos Santos was pretty nice and quiet. I stopped in 10 places in Baja California (all videos on my channel), maybe it will help pick a place :) Thanks for watching! ✌️
Yeah, was perfect top stop at for the little stuff I needed. Portion sizes are so much smaller here too, so you can still buy decent shampoo for a buck or whatever. 👍
Thanks! I was there on a couple of very quiet days, and it definitely comes more alive at night. In August it was VERY hot, so most people hang out indoors to escape the heat of the day, and venture out in the evenings. Still lots of people around, as you can see in the video, with talking to some along the way. The tourist office, the taco king, the local ladies and others were all in the video. You'll have a great time! ✌️
Hola! Tienes el precio gringo para el almuerzo! $275mx is closer to $14.00us. FYI- I have a fish taco place the charges $28mx each and an al pastor place for $15mx each just down the street.
That was the price in the wall, so I guess they were charging everyone those prices? I've been to plenty of other places before and after that were cheaper too, but El Rey is famous and I wanted to check that place out. ✌️
Is NO ONE going to tell him "I told you so!" for FINALLY buying a hat?! We told you to buy a hat, Ian! "It's too hot to not have a hat, Ian" and "You're going to get too hot, Ian!" we said... Honestly, some people's children! 😄

Apparently, me fixing the first bug led to other bugs, which are now also fixed.
I really enjoy these historical facts about these cool towns they all have a story to tell, if you look deep enough, love it

Great Video! I did not know that Canino Real started in Loreto on the Baja CA. side. nice!
It was a pretty cool spot to discover (for me). So much history along that route. Thanks for watching! ✌️
Thank you. Nice vid. Cheers
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it! I hope you check out some more videos as well. ✌️
Very nice. I hope to visit one day.
Highly recommended! I only scratched the surface of what to do in Loreto. ✌️
A great video Ian. Safe travels. When I visit Loreto I enjoy the walk at the malecon and to San Javier
Without a vehicle San Javier wasn't possible this time, but maybe in the future. The malecon was fantastic however. All the best! ✌️
@@wanderbeard yes 🙏All the best!!! Enjoy your trip
I was at the airport tuenty years ago is nice and quiet sure want go back and live there
Loreto was really nice but SO HOT when I was there. Even being next to the water wasn't helping much. Great city though!
Another great video, man ✌️

Loreto is my favorite town in BCS 🥰
Loreto was wonderful. Such a cool city with so much history. Would have loved to get out to the island, maybe next time. Thanks for watching! ✌️
Great video, Loreto is on my soon to travel to, but there's not a soul in sight! Where are the inhabitants or tourists..
