Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony

May 6, 2024, marks Holocaust Remembrance Day, also known as Yom HaShoah, when the nation memorializes the six million Jews killed during World War II and the other victims of Nazi persecution.

The Israeli government did not survive the holocaust, the Israeli government is not allowed to do whatever it wants. The belief that the Holocaust Survivors are allowed to do whatever they want because they survived the Holocaust is not inherited by their descendants. What your grandparents and parents went through, the Privileges they received are not inherited to you, they were the ones who went through the horror, not you. It is your obligation to remember what they went through, not to use that as an excuse to brutalize anybody who does not look like you or believe what you do.
