I never thought of using nail polish for so much. Everyone does everything with chalk paint, but some things need shine. Everything was beautiful.

That xmas tree basket provides such a perfect frame for adding stuff to it. Love the turquoise roses, pine cones and shiny ornaments. Gotta have some snow added to the greenery and the star... Ahhh this just looks so cozy xmassy.. I just love it!!

The birch wood technique was gorgeous. You have such an eye for detail. The turquoise color was also great such a lovely pop! I have tried dying my own sola flowers and never can get vibrant colors. You are right about the hotter the better. Maybe I will use my kettle next time. I love the sheen on the snowman-great job using the nail polish.
I like that you chose to use nail polish (enamel) paint. Lots of ladies have it already and just saw they can use it to update old decor.

Hi Maddie! Sorry I am just now leaving a comment. I am always impressed by how much of a true artist you are, as well as a crafter. I love learning the techniques you demonstrate and you do such a great job of it. Glad you were able to get some of the sola wood flowers, I haven't yet, but maybe soon. I appreciated your way of dying them. I've never used any kind of dye, so I appreciate learning your tips about that, too. So many RUclips crafters have used them. I've been shying away from the Chalky stencil girls appeals, though. It's ok if they want it and it looks great, but it's like other things I can get drawn into and spend too much. I might have the sola flowers if I didn't spend so much at Dollar Tree, even.🤦♀️😂 The struggle is real, Maddie! Anyway, sorry to write you a book, but I see that you do make old things new, and use recycled materials, too. I like that. Thank you again!
