How to Change Apple ID on iPhone

- You can change Apple ID on any iOS device. You'll have to remove one Apple ID first and use another Apple ID to sign in and associate that device with the new Apple ID.
This is good if you are giving away your iPhone or iPad to someone else. If you are getting rid of it or selling to a stranger, you'll simply just remove apple ID and not change it.

Spent an hr or so trying to change my Apple Id by selecting the name of the Current Apple Id and trying to delete from top of settings page and attempting to add new Apple Id. Kept coming up Apple Id already in use!!! aghhhh. The Apple site did not show going to the 'BOTTOM' of the settings page to 'SIGN OUT' first! Thanks for your video! changed in 5 mins!!
what happens when the original icloud doesnt have enough storage to back anything up. am i still able to keep my contacts, photos, and apps after signing out?

Same here just my moms.When it tells you what you want to save in your iCloud you press all the buttons the stocks is your apps and the keychain is where you saved your passwords

I was worried about the contacts perfect this is easy.
I was given a hand-me-down iPhone that the prior owner never disabled. He doesn't know his iCloud pwd to disable the phone. So the phone still thinks it's his. I can't get apps or emails as a result. it doesnt affect ur other phones apple id if it had the same one right? it only signs out of a certain phone and not another? (sorry if it didnt make sense)

the reason I want my own Apple ID is because 3 other people in my family are using the same Apple ID. So they all get my texts and stuff. So if I do this is it going to delete the Apple ID from all the iPhones sharing it?
You can turn off iCloud iMessage. I do the same but have every iCloud service disabled in settings except calendar which the family uses. I am planning to get my own Apple ID and set up family sharing tho
