This was a phenomenal performance one of the best I've seen in my 60 plus yrs listening to music. George was one of the greatest singers ever. Both of them sung so extremely well together
Two pitch perfect vocalists! My heroes growing up. No in ear monitors that every singer needs nowadays to follow keys and hear the band. These King's of music don't need them.....musically gifted.
Thank you so much Martin, humbly appreciated. here's George's Playlist on my channel for you to enjoy when you have time.ruclips.net/p/PLWQGjnqwg9JLyQaAsJIuBnto6n9kmBaQv
Gr8 reaction! This duet & video gives me chills. every time I see it. It's sooo good. Elton & George were amazing. The drummer, the background singers, the horn section & everyone contributed to making this a hauntingly great performance.
It looked to me you were trying very hard to control your emotions listening to this fabulous song George Michael was one of a rare breed his voice was absolutely perfect in everyway lovely personality very deep I think and then he was gone do we all really now what we lost I don't mind admitting I loved the guy and miss him as for Elton John where do you start another incredibly talented has to be said showman and of coarse musician and singer I have been a fan from the days of goodbye yellow brick Road this track is one of my favourites from a long list of wonderful creations great reaction from you and yes I nearly cried listening to this I love good music and I can see you do too
I was thinking the same thing......I still have tears in my eyes when I hear George Michael sing......it was such a huge and sudden loss to all his fans, who loved and adored him!!!
This is probably the best duets I've heard. 2 great performers with phenomenal voices. Can't ask for anything more than that. Actually I think the song is better with both of them rather than Eltons original
La voce di George, calda, avvolgente, morbida come il velluto, ha contribuito a valorizzare ulteriormente un brano già splendido di suo..coppia da brividi con Elton!!
High Five Psyche. Two massive talents there Psyche. There isn't a drive i go on where i dont play Eltons Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, the single.Absolutely adore that song and here we have an Elton John song that is given the George Michael treatment and it is phenomenal. There isn't a time where you react to George, that i ask myself if people realize what a massive talent he was.You can only sit back and pour a drink and just admire the both of them.True what you said about Bernie Taupin also.A brilliant writer.Thank God you are around to react.I can only watch GM with you because i feel saulace in your words when you talk about him.Another great reaction from you.Thank you again.
Hello Johnny good to see you. Hope is well with you and your family - things are so tough with all this cost of living stuff - woo, but I'm hanging on in there - just! Thank you for your wonderful comments, such a lovely read I have to say. Would you believe Yellow Brick Road is my absolutely favourite track by Elton - brings back so many memories. Then my second favourite is "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" - woo, that's a killer. Anyhow, have a truly blessed Sunday and coming week with your family, keep safe, healthy but above all happy - and thanks for being here - Psyche 🌹🕊🙏🏽
I've watched this video many many times & just ADORE it. Having Elton with George was so iconic! Both so sensational! It's so great seeing them both over & over again (as I do!) What a fantastic video! 💝💝💝
Thank you so much for your appreciation Working Man - I like that "Working Man" - sounds so cool ☺️🌹. p.s. Here's George's Playlist on my channel for you to enjoy when you have time!ruclips.net/p/PLWQGjnqwg9JLyQaAsJIuBnto6n9kmBaQv
Hey there Psyche, took me back to my teenage years when I listened to Elton incessantly. My escape within music. George does a great rendition here with Elton too. Yes, I don't know anybody else who could pair with Elton on this song. They both sang this song together at Live Aid 1985. Another great reaction Psyche, your channel adds a bit of sunshine to the world. Much love, Rich
Hello my dear CMA (Rich) - thank you so much for checking in. I hope all is well your side - I feel like I'm in a washing machine on fast spin with all this cost of living stuff - but holding on! Anyhow, such a beautiful and sincere comment - bless you my lovely. I hope the family are well and you are looking after yourself. Much love and blessings - until next time! Psyche 🌹
This was a time, Psyche, when our country really produced something we could be proud of and which delighted the world. Britain’s greatest export was its music.
You know what is sad?! This performance is the first live performance of elton john after rehab of cocaine. And george tried so hard to convince him to get him out of depression and dark mood he was in. But unfortunately george didn't find anyone but elton john talking about george's state in the media but as acts of friendship nothing Going to the performance is obviously George's touch of the songwriter he was, because everybody knows the original song and it's clearly different, a lot of people love this version better than the original
I have always loved your passion when you react. This duet is epic. Of course Elton was fantastic, but George’s interpretation was amazing. Not to mention George’s vocals and the notes he hit were exceptional. Watch a very young George duet with Elton on live Aid. Check it out, because it as almost outstanding.
Wow you lucky thing - he is an absolute magnet of an entertainer for sure! My favourite by him is "Yellow Brick Road" followed by "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" - woo that takes me down every time 🤦🏽♀️. Anyhow here is George's Playlist on my channel for you to enjoy when you have the time. Also thank you so much Dagmar for showing up - I really do appreciate it very much. Have a blessed Sunday with your family. Psyche 🙋🏽♀️🌹ruclips.net/p/PLWQGjnqwg9JLyQaAsJIuBnto6n9kmBaQv
@@psycheinc-theSLC thank you. Yes, I like "Sorry seems to be the hardest word", but my favorite song is " border song" Ohhhhh and I love "tonight" Elton with the Australian symphony orchestra, pure joy.
Yes -it's Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffet. He's my favourite Drummer if all time and he was Madonna's Drummer also. He's very sought after. A amazing and very nice gentleman from what I hear. Hope to interview him one day! Anyhow have a happy festive time with friends and family Alesia. 🙏🏽🌹🕊

❤❤❤❤Best ever!!!! I miss you George 😢😢😢
Hello, I love Elton and saw him few times live, he was fantastic, but George is better here, he killed it. He is so good.
Oh I prefer Elton’s vocals tbh. He was a gentleman and let George take the lead, being George’s show.
George wasn't even in the same league as... EJ * 🎙😎 🎹
( .*...and don't forget where the song came from shout out for the incredible Bernie Taupin )
Great choice thanks for this x

I like all the songs you say, yes Elon with the Australian Symphonie Orchestra, one of the best. When I was in my twenties I heard it every day.
