I only play one deck in HS, Kibler's Tess rogue , because it's just too much fun (also because of Kibler!). Sad to see Valeera go in Rise of Shadows, but this should work as well. Good to see thief rogue could still be alive.
I dont have Tess.. any ideas for what to pick instead?

Removing the other dks and Baku is worththe loss of valeera. Besides we get a lot of ways to get more cards without trying to give up a full turn of tempo

I wish Blizzard would alter Pilfer to give you a random card from another class. This would differentiate it enough from Swashburglar/Hallucination while allowing it to work in the Rogue mirror for Burgle Rogue.
YES. I was just thinking the same i don't recall any instance in which blizzar *buffed* a card, however.

Karol Puton no I mean shaku the old 2/3 rogue legendary that gets a card when it attacks. It was from the streets of gadgetzstan expansion.
@@magoichi75 almost forgot that card existed. But I do remember it seen play a few expansions into its life as a fuel for tempo rogue (I think)
I would think Arcane Keysmith would give you Rogue secrets, but it seems it’s always mage. Hydrologist works differently.
Can someone explain why you would run pilfer over hallucination?
Hallucination is rotating into wild when Rise of Shadows releases.
I wonder if Violet Haze is any good in this deck as it can give you cards from other class too
I have tried it in other rogue decks. Most of the time you get trash that does not sinergize with the deck, such as eggs. It is a 50/50 to get things from other classes. Not really worth it.
@@joaovictor_of Yeah I guess the fact that it can give neutral cards as well as Rogue cards as the class has quite a few deathrattle cards it's not really worth it..
I really wish they made a "1 mana add a card from another class" Pilfer is fine but useless in mirror matches, they could've changed it to "from another class" for this expansion as they mentioned that's how they're gonna start making those cards from now on.
@@yiangaruga4928 Yes. This change to Pilfer would make it more playable. Right now it is just a worse version on Hallucination, a card that also does not seems much play even in the thief archetype.

the deck is better against rogues now though, they have more tools for the mirror match.
I always put witch cauldron on my burglar rogue deck just in case.

TheMagicMonkeyYT it will. Only deck that lost basically nothing and gained a lot. Not top tier but playable
it will be fine for the first week or two while people try all kinds of crazy shit. if it will still be good when the meta starts to settle? we will see.

Perhaps cut Tess for the Tak? Turn 8 you can always Tak prep Espionage and refill your hand with a ton of 1 cost spells

I hate the fact Blizzard doesn't want to change all the other Burgle cards to be the same as the new 4/3. Makes no sense

It would really screw with the flavour of cards like burgle, the idea is your stealing your opponents cards. Blizzard seems to care about stuff like that.

Well i began playing just after ungoro and i guess thats the reason i feel that with the rotation standard has become really less exciting cause this expansion has no powerful cards like win conditions and the old ones are out. Was hearthstone like this before ungoro?
I get the same feels too, the power-level of cards is just crashing down.
I started playin right before gvg, and hearthstone goes back and forth like a metronome. Just have fun and do what you like.When I started I played nothing but agro mech paladin, then I switched to control priest, then control warior, then Reno mage. For a few months after Meanstreets I played nothing but mill rogue and had the time of my life despite the fact it wasn’t meta. Just have fun with what you like to play. Right now I’m Baku warrior but with the new expansion I’m going to go murloc shaman whether or not it’s meta because it looks fun, and will take me back to early Ungoro
