Yeah, when I saw that play I immediately thought they were more going for fun, as opposed to the win, because they recognized Kibler.

I’ve been having insane success with a very similar deck, with so many high impact minions, I included archmage arugal. And then with that, cut both polymorphs with voodoo dolls, and then a book of specters.

glad to see this form of control mage,the recent popular decks with book of specters is pretty bad facing argo decks,swap them into classic AOEs and keep the big minions can make mage to rely less on the perfect 3 turn giants,but be able to survive more rounds in defensive games,and also,leave the 4 waves of conjures calling to warriorsxD

Kibler was low and had no healing left. Rogue had a ton of burst in his hand; he could have likely won if he had stuck to the plan but instead decided to play Nozari an be a bming bastard.
It was so sweet to watch that rogue lose on stream lul

I swear kibler never gets bad RNG. He always get the answer he need via draw or discover and always has insane value.

Well you were at 17 health before nozari then he got you to 12 after healing you to full meaning he was able to deal 18 damage over subsequent turns I.e. he threw the game
The kalecgos polymorph rekt him
Thats not really fair to say because if he didn't play Nozari, Kibler isn't forced to dig for polymorph and instead probably plays flamestrike (probably Kalecgos / flamestrike) and clears whatever the rogue had played instead of Nozari. Because Kibler did have to poly, the rogue had a board and pushed 6 damage on the next turn that would have gotten cleared otherwise. If he doesn't play Nozari, then he has no board, no damage in hand and his only good minion heals his opponent to full. That's not a better position. If Kibler didn't discover poly right there he probably loses.
He got on youtube though. He threw the game, but did he really lose? Plus RNG gods just weren't on his side with the third polymorph.
He's not throwing a game.. Kibler already used a lot of single removal (sunreaver, polymorph, etc) but not aoe (flamestrike). And he ran out of resources, one aoe down, he need to play that nozari anyway. So the right play is to play it as soon as possible to minimalize the heal effects.

it's a tempo deck. building up the board and sapping an opponents 10 cost minion means the opponent will have to find another turn to play a 10 cost minion if they want it.
additionally the odds are with him that one of the three mage spells won't be exactly what Kibler needs. he lost those odds, but that doesn't mean the play was wrong. and the alternative is to leave a 4/12 on the field that's making value thru free spells.
