- Epic the Musical has an INSANE grip on me, it’s not even funny anymore 😭.
atp I’m just cranking out oc animatics that have no true lore relevance since I take so dang long in between periods, so much has happened already and I’m like “never mind, there’s lore, just that I won’t keep track of it”
OCs that appeared:
Isphine (The lady with the thorn crown/huge owl)
Andrius (The guy with the hooded robe)
Hakor (The guy with the ox mask/ox form)
Orestes (The guy Hakor and Andrius are bashing lmao / the “coward”)

Hi guys, new pinned post
1. They’re not actual mythical gods that a culture or region believes in, they’re my fictional OCs!
2. Some share resemblances to actual gods or other fictional gods (such as Sorial to the god Apollo or Isphine to the archon Nahida (which might be explained later or smth)) but that’s really it :’)
3. Hakor and Andrius blushed at each other, but that’s out of embarrassment and to fit the song canon, they don’t harbor any romantic feelings for each other. If anything, Hakor’s probably in a little weird thing with Isphine and Khanri (a god that I talk about in my Instagram page)
That transformation into a bull(?) was CLEAN, i love it

Ok Isphire really gives me these Athena vibes, you know bc she transforms into an owl and Athena usually is symbolized after an owl
Yes! Isphine is the Goddess of Wisdom (amongst other things), and she’s been caged like a bird for hundreds of years. I figured making her animal counterpart an owl would fit perfectly

@@gemmasantos8702 I’m so sorry for queerbaiting everyone but they are in fact not gay 🙁😭… Isphine and Hakor are actually romantically involved (with Khanri, another god that isn’t in this video)
But Andrius is actually involved with Mercury, aka the puppet theatre god guy 😴
Omfg, the transformation of both characters was so damn smooth, the animation is gorgeous, and I’m interested in their lore! also the slight blush when Anorius and Hako are called lovers is so cute ahhhh!! 🤍🤍🤍

OO OK OK so basically Isphine (the lady with the thorn crown) needs to get sword pieces to free Orestes, and she’s battling Andrius and Hakor at the same time!!
In reality, it’s a more action/challenge heavy fight than it is in the animatic, plus the song itself hasn’t fully released so this is only one part of the full challenge 🥲
But Isphine effectively scares them straight, and they agree to relinquish the sword pieces (“ugh, release him.”)

Holy crap you guys seemed to have really liked this! I mentioned in a post that I wanted to / really liked Get in the Water + Done For + God Games but since two of those songs are unfinished and one doesn’t really have a good storyboard plan to it yet I couldn’t animate it-
Though, with the segments of God Games we have, would you like me to make the Divine Intervention part? Genuine question because I need something to work on 😢

Nice animatic! the designs are cool and there a lot of really nice frame. The OC gods are cool, although I would like to know more about what is going on and more details about the pantheon .

i made about 600 fictional deities (and im stiill not done, i've got some daemons [greek mythology's deities that personified certain things like Chrysus]) but the two i think would fit this would be genderswapped. Aphrodite's part would be Amari, the god of love. and Ares' part would be A'lovul, goddess of romantic love, roaches, resilience, archery, and heartbreak.
