He’s good for jingliu, dr ratio, argenti, dot, Acheron, yunli and just generally good even in break. He also has a lot of potential due the lack of he’s debuffs stacking and uptime.
debuffers are a good investment with you like break comps, it's hard to notice that bc firefly its pretty locked with her team, but jiaoqiu it's good with boothill, because def debuff buffs break dps.

Fast forward several months and she's just tearing it up now that she has better and better teams where her unique thing can shine. I even got her E1 on her rerun just to help Dr ratio even more. This guy feels like he's going to be that but for ultimate teams and any team that needs frequent applications of debuffs. Honestly I'd go for Kafka e4s1/bs e4s1 and for the lols would be straight e6. Bs/kafka generating even more stupid stacks, bs arcana hitting 50 stacks in almost no time. E4 for both giving more stacks due to faster ult generation and easier arcana uptime, with e6 Kafka having a huge dmg scale increase and e6 BS gives arcana stack generation per party atk. I just have all 3 at e2s1+ aventurine s5 trends. Doesn't have the highest frontload dmg but it's very consitent/stable and has just stupid amount of acheron ults.
@Kspice9000 I am not a whale like that to go for that many copies of any character. Acheron was different just due to me getting a tax refund and having that extra income, and liking her character in terms of design and personality. It certainly helped she was broken lol. For me, I will rarely ever go past E1 for any character, and likely won't even do that unless I know I will constantly use the unit enough to make it worth it. I usually won't even get signature light cones for most units. Investing that many pulls to get e4s1 on 2 characters for one team to me feels excessive. I don't got it like that to spend that kind of money. Maybe once every year or two there will be a unit in a game I'm willing to go a few hundred dollars on if I get some extra funds, but that's extremely rare circumstances.

man my apo score on doomsday beast just skyrockets to 3700 with jiaoqiu even with the lightning res and all the vulnerablity debuff is wayyy better than pela's and sw's def shred, on the upper half I even got like 3400 score using him despite kafka's lightning res (previously using sw so it's -50% res when she implant lightning and got me 3300 points, now I only have the -20% res from acheron's ult but jq stack generation makes up for it), definitely a huge upgrade over pela/sw

if you want to improve acheron's dmg without having two pull 2 copies of her which costs 320 pulls if you lost all 50/50, then you can pull for jiaoqiu, he upgrades your acheron for a much cheaper price, e2 stronger overall cause you can use harmony but it's far to expensive, I'd rather pull him cause there will be certainly new characters that focus on ult dmg aoe in the future, it's limited to argenti and acheron for now, but I'm sure there'll be more, look at topaz, that's probably what will happen to him

Your Acheron team is complete. Kafka and Swan are useful for the damage they bring, but they don’t enhance Acheron with their kits. JQ makes specifically Acheron a bit better. Topaz and Robin make almost all follow-up units better by a wide margin, especially Robin. From my perspective, it’s not even a contest. Btw, if you’re looking to get Robin, Topaz, and Feixiao… you’re fucked unless you have a ton of pulls saved up, according to leakers they are all being run next patch.

Personally as a Topaz haver, she really isn’t that big of a deal without s1 or e1 (i have neither) and for me she’s about as good as hunt march 7 or from the looks of it rn moze too. Jiaoqiu from what i’ve seen is about as good as sparkle. There are specific units that immensely benefit from them (dhil & sparkle) (acheron & jiaoqiu) and while other units benefit less from them than their tailored units, they still are pretty damn good
Yeah, he should be good with the likes of Ratio and Argenti for example. Ratio benefits from having multiple different debuffs, and Jiaoqiu's buffs ult damage, which is Argenti's main gimmick.
If you insist on using Robin it might be. You kind of need to run an abundance sustain with quid pro quo to help Robin get her ult back tho. It's just a little RNG cause Acheron can steal the proc.
Jiaoqiu 100%, because Black Swan's kit is more centered around DOTs, her vulnerability only applies on enemies turn unlike his, and he provides Ultimate damage, plus he can passively apply debuffs once the enemies take their turn if his ultimate has been deployed, said ultimate lasts through waves as well. If you're a picking the character for Acheron go Jiaoqiu, only pick Black Swan if you want to pair her with Kafka as well
I think you can form more teams around Black Swan than Jaiqiou. So that would give her more value. If you only want to boost your Acheron team then use your warps for Jaiqiou.
Who do you have as abundance in that case? If you want to go the Jiaoqiu route he plays better with someone like Gallagher or Aventurine (who ig u don't have since Fu is your only preserv). What is your second team? Do you have any harmony units? Acheron is pretty flexible, you don't absolutely *have* to run double nihility teammates.

His main problem is how locked he is to Acheron on release. Considering how his kit is specifically tailored to her I don't really see him gaining value with future characters. Pulling him is essentially like pulling a limited 5* light cone for a different character than it's meant for, or just in case someone is released in the future that can use it really well. Even though he's built specifically for Acheron, he's still not a major upgrade for her compared to her best teams right now. Granted not everyone can build those I guess. Those being Kafka+Black Swan, and Sparkle+Gepard (E1 Gepard ideally for consistency).
firstly why gepard over adventurine especially adventurine with his signature lol, secondly where have there been calcs showing acheron + pela + jaiquio is worse than BS + Kafka + acherons?
@kmel3588 E1 Gepard on Trends has a 100% chance freeze on skill and he is hit like 90% of the times bcs his aggro values are very high, so he has almost the same effect as Jiaoqiu, every enemie's turn is a stack for Acheron. He obviously sustains worse than limited sustainers, but he is better than Bailu and Lynx. The only problem with him is running an AV modifying source on the team, be it Bronya, Sparkle, Robin, DDD, etc.
@@LucasGomes-ng2go or you can run adeventuine whose a far better sustainer and with his LC providing another debuff + buff to acherons damage, along side Jiaoqiu ult battery and buff to acherons damage, and then you can run either pela or black swan for additional def shred and stacks. Compared to all that, the gepard team is inferior,entirely reliant on needing E2 acheron without anywhere near the number of stack generation or sustain.
I liked his animations and it took 6 Multis won the 50/50 with two copies of him so I’m happy lol I’ll be adding him to my DOT team now I just need black swan :,)
The fact that his ult only buffs ult DMG is annoying. It feels extra annoying because this was already done to the valorous relic set and now the same thing got done to the kit of a limited 5-star character IMO they should have at least let it also buff DoT DMG so he can work well with DoT teams. Jiaoqiu becoming another Topaz is very difficult. Topaz deals with follow ups which is a very broad category ranging from summons to counter-attacks to extra attacks out of turn. Hoyo would have to usher in a whole set of new characters all of whom rely on debuff application to charge their ultimate because that's the only way that debuff application frequency can serve as a gameplay mechanic. Even if Hoyo ever leans into debuff meta, it's more likely we will see stuff like Ratio and not Acheron, i.e. power scaling based on number of debuffs on enemy and not how fast debuffs are applied. Kafka is the best example of this, as someone who wants as many DoT as possible on the enemy

@@adamnguyen966 Insane or not comes down to the balance tuning. Usually a lot of what makes something OP is when they made numbers too high. DoT teams rely on ult but not for the raw base damage from the ult. The ults (notably guinaifens and kafkas A2 trace) have the side effect of detonating DoT. But the dmg from those DoT doesnt scale off the ult damage but rather from the DoT's own original damage.

If you insist on using Robin it might be. You kind of need to run an abundance sustain with quid pro quo to help Robin get her ult back tho. It's just a little RNG cause Acheron can steal the proc.

If I only have Pela from nihility and Fu Xuan preserv and wanna make an E0S1 Acheron team just go for Jaiqiou or Black Swan rerun?
Jiaoqiu 100%, because Black Swan's kit is more centered around DOTs, her vulnerability only applies on enemies turn unlike his, and he provides Ultimate damage, plus he can passively apply debuffs once the enemies take their turn if his ultimate has been deployed, said ultimate lasts through waves as well.
If you're a picking the character for Acheron go Jiaoqiu, only pick Black Swan if you want to pair her with Kafka as well
I think you can form more teams around Black Swan than Jaiqiou. So that would give her more value. If you only want to boost your Acheron team then use your warps for Jaiqiou.
Who do you have as abundance in that case? If you want to go the Jiaoqiu route he plays better with someone like Gallagher or Aventurine (who ig u don't have since Fu is your only preserv). What is your second team? Do you have any harmony units? Acheron is pretty flexible, you don't absolutely *have* to run double nihility teammates.

My only preserve is Fu Xuan.I have a Bailu and Lynx and that’s all I think.The problem is my second team I only have a Calara for dmg dealing…So if Acheron coming back I get her for sure for my secondary team main dps spot.But because I don’t have too much char thinking about Black Swan for the second nihility spot with Pela because she more flexible team building wise.But tbh I don’t want to play dot because I don’t have anything to build.Maybe the best choice to maximize an Acheron team with a good nihility for Acheron(Jaioqiu) and after Acheron just wait for a new nice character and save with two strong team?Maybe get Linghsa if she come back to switch out Gallagher to the Acheron team…Idk tbh. His main problem is how locked he is to Acheron on release. Considering how his kit is specifically tailored to her I don't really see him gaining value with future characters. Pulling him is essentially like pulling a limited 5* light cone for a different character than it's meant for, or just in case someone is released in the future that can use it really well.
Even though he's built specifically for Acheron, he's still not a major upgrade for her compared to her best teams right now. Granted not everyone can build those I guess. Those being Kafka+Black Swan, and Sparkle+Gepard (E1 Gepard ideally for consistency).

That is factually incorrect. He is literally BiS for her teams. Period.
@kmel3588 E1 Gepard on Trends has a 100% chance freeze on skill and he is hit like 90% of the times bcs his aggro values are very high, so he has almost the same effect as Jiaoqiu, every enemie's turn is a stack for Acheron. He obviously sustains worse than limited sustainers, but he is better than Bailu and Lynx. The only problem with him is running an AV modifying source on the team, be it Bronya, Sparkle, Robin, DDD, etc.
@@LucasGomes-ng2go or you can run adeventuine whose a far better sustainer and with his LC providing another debuff + buff to acherons damage, along side Jiaoqiu ult battery and buff to acherons damage, and then you can run either pela or black swan for additional def shred and stacks. Compared to all that, the gepard team is inferior,entirely reliant on needing E2 acheron without anywhere near the number of stack generation or sustain.

I liked his animations and it took 6 Multis won the 50/50 with two copies of him so I’m happy lol I’ll be adding him to my DOT team now I just need black swan :,)
The fact that his ult only buffs ult DMG is annoying. It feels extra annoying because this was already done to the valorous relic set and now the same thing got done to the kit of a limited 5-star character
IMO they should have at least let it also buff DoT DMG so he can work well with DoT teams.
Jiaoqiu becoming another Topaz is very difficult. Topaz deals with follow ups which is a very broad category ranging from summons to counter-attacks to extra attacks out of turn. Hoyo would have to usher in a whole set of new characters all of whom rely on debuff application to charge their ultimate because that's the only way that debuff application frequency can serve as a gameplay mechanic. Even if Hoyo ever leans into debuff meta, it's more likely we will see stuff like Ratio and not Acheron, i.e. power scaling based on number of debuffs on enemy and not how fast debuffs are applied. Kafka is the best example of this, as someone who wants as many DoT as possible on the enemy
Don’t most DoT teams rely a lot on ult damage tho? I feel like adding DoT on would make the team insane. As of rn, he’s already pretty good with it, and even better at E2

@@adamnguyen966 Insane or not comes down to the balance tuning. Usually a lot of what makes something OP is when they made numbers too high.
DoT teams rely on ult but not for the raw base damage from the ult. The ults (notably guinaifens and kafkas A2 trace) have the side effect of detonating DoT. But the dmg from those DoT doesnt scale off the ult damage but rather from the DoT's own original damage.
