When I saw the Quantic Dream logo, I got even more excited because Detroit: Become Human is one of my top 2 or 3 games of all time, and I'm super excited to play a Star Wars game in that style! I've played through Detroit a few times now and I'm nowhere near finding all of the alternate paths in even the first half of the game, so if there are that many options in Eclipse, I don't think I'll be playing anything else for a while when it comes out!

I've been loving the High Republic so the idea of a game set in the era is INCREDIBLE. I hope it's open world and we'll get to freely explore the locations. I'm very intrigued by the ability to make story choices, I love those in games, very happy they're going that route and it was a nice surprise to see Yoda in the trailer. Hopefully we'll be able to explore Coruscant and the Jedi Temple a bit, it would be fun to poke around and compare it to the prequel era Temple I think that city might actually BE Jedha in its prime. The city has the same vibe to it, it feels right but the kicker is that we can see some of the red robed pilgrims IDENTICAL to the ones seen in Rogue One so I think we're going to get to see Jedha way back in the day, which is exciting! I actually thought for a minute that those drummer guys were Marchion Ro's people, they fit his general description, tall, grey skinned humanoid. I was thinking maybe we'd see the conflict they had with the Jedi that's been talked about, that felt like something they could tell without causing hassle with the publishing side since it's mentioned being so far back but then that dude turned around and looked nothing like Ro so that theory's a bust but still it was fun having that in my head even briefly
I can't wait to see this game do well and watch the people who hate the High Republic based on the opinions of RUclipsrs/clickbait articles come up with their own opinions. I've noticed that most people who vehemently hate the High Republic are breathtakingly misinformed on what the era actually is.
For me the N-1 Starfighter was always more of a ceremonial starfighter based on a much older ship so it actually makes total sense they’d be around in this era
The company making it, Quantic Dreams, is notorious for their games being mostly story driven and almost like interactive movies as they focus more on individual choices instead of action gameplay. It will probably be a great game for someone who isn’t much of a gamer
Based on the N1 fighter, the Trade Federation ships, and the fact that it's called Eclipse tells me that this could be depicting the end of the High Republic Era; like the final nail in the coffin of the golden age.
Yes. And attack at trade federation ships looks like Stark Hyperspace War which led to forming droid army. Also drums are literally symbolising drums of war, which starts with peaceful no drum and then as events escalate drums start playing stronger and stronger and eclipse is closing acting like prophecy of what is to come (empire). Also Jedi fight looks like Quinlan Vos vs female version of master Tholme (their duels happened exactly during those period of time, during investigation of bacta factory sabotage). So I guess it is 50-10 years prior to Episode I. And black figure in end for whom this drum ritual is done either is Plagueis, Palpatine or Tenebrous, whom those voldemort species worship (they look primitive, so sith could be considered gods for them).
Also in the scene where it's 2 jedi with their lightsabers crossed with enemies coming at them, the jedi on the right is not human and covered in white fur. I would absolutely love to be able to not just customize force abilities, lightsabers, and appearances, but it would be so cool to have a large pool of species to choose from as well! This looks incredible
@@matthewm5581 I mean I don't think it's that radical of an idea, especially considering it's one of the most xeno rich worlds in all of science fiction. I'm not sure how this early into the process we can even predict thar answer
Not really the developers' style, but it doesn't mean it won't happen for perhaps one character. Whereas QD were calling all the shots on their last three games, they're answering to Lucasfilm this time around, so hopefully there'll be just that little bit more attention put into it.
@@ealing456 I'm not sure I've played anything by them before. Idk maybe I have. It is a shame if they don't put that in there. I'm a massive star wars novel collector and reader, both canon and legends, and I think the greatest part of star wars and the thing that has made it this multi generational phenomenon of never ending content is that they take the time to give every species a very detailed back story and history that has allowed them to go from planet to planet and continue to always have something new to learn. It would be a major missed opportunity to not take advantage of one of their biggest assets as far as in game culture goes. It's very unique to star wars to have that level of world building
My guess is that that first planet we see is Onderon. It's very Onderon-y with the blue and gold paintwork on very tall, square architecture, & the palace really dominates the city the way Iziz Royal Palace should. Onderon's always been a seat of unrest for the Republic. They're kind of like Texas - They tried to secede a long time ago and there's been folks there who've wanted to try again ever since.
It looks like a middle ground between KOTOR and Episode 1 as it should. I hope they also do an Infinite Empire, Great Hyperspace War, and Exar Kun War era game.
If I had to guess, the events of this game appear to occur at the end of The High Republic era, about the same time The Acolyte is rumored to take place. That likely places it 50-75 years prior to the prequels, and the ships looking so reminiscent of the prequel era seem to support this.
If right, I think placing the game this much further ahead from the publishing effort makes sense, giving the authors the space and time to tell their stories without worry about butting up against anything in this game. In fact, the Nihil are noticeably missing from this trailer. They may show up in the game, but they might also not be an active threat any longer by this time. We likely won't see this game before late 2023 or sometime in 2024, which should be plenty enough time for the publishing side to get through Phase III of the effort.
The idea of big ships that are don't really changing for centuries makes sense. Even Republic fleet in the The Clone Wars might be made from older ships. LAATs and Acclamators looked really old and used in Ep2. And it lines up with the suquels too. Also we know from Ep1 that Trade Federation and their droid army was in multiple wars way before the events of the movie
Not really. This is a cinematic trailer. It’s not meant to show gameplay or anything like that. It’s just meant to build up hype and introduce the general idea of it. The Old Republic MMO also had a bunch of similar trailers that were cinematic. It’s an MMO but we didn’t see that gameplay, it was trailers to introduce us to the project. That’s the same here
@@xELITExKILLAx that's not really my problem. The issue is that they've clearly invested a substantial part of the budget into this trailer without having made much progress in the development of the game. It just doesn't sit right with me.
@@bnsmark6794 strange logic. They may have prepped their budget with this in mind. I really don’t think you can make any determination on the quality of the game, simply based on the timing and quality if their debut marketing piece.
@@bnsmark6794 how do you know how far in development they are? I assure you they didn’t decide to start making the game and then a week later put this out. I can almost guarantee you this game has been in development for as little as a year and as long as a couple before they even decided to release this announcement trailer. I’m sure behind closed doors at the development studio the game is playable In some form, and the story is very well developed by now. To be fair I guess I can’t assume that. I’m not a game developer. But this is a huge triple A title set in a billion dollar extremely loved franchise. I HIGHLY doubt development on this game has gotten much farther than making an announcement trailer. “Early development “ doesn’t mean they have barely worked on it. I’m sure they have a story already written up, im sure they have a lot of the characters designed and back stories written for them. They already have an art direction and tone set for the game. All they did was announce the game with a cinematic trailer. We don’t even have a release date. We could be 2 years away from release so there is plenty of time to finely polish and make a great game.
@@makeadeathwishproductions Okay this is gonna take some explaining: Yes, of course all of you are right that I have no *factual* ground to stand on. I can't see into the future, but I *can* make educated predictions, which I'll elaborate on further. The argument that this is a triple AAA title set in a extremely beloved franchise doesn't mean anything whatsoever, look at the last 10 years. More than plenty of AAA titles have been butchered despite high expectations or massive budgets, the AAA tag isn't worth all that much anymore in terms of quality assurance. As for the "Early Development" part, this could very well mean they have barely worked on the game, in fact, it pretty much means exactly that. Early Development usually describes a state of a game in which all of the pre-production is done, such as the story, characters, concept art and possibly also art direction. But that process is entirely disconnected from the technical development of a game because a game consists of more than a story and its art. Not a single line of code or art asset has to have been implement into the game for it to be "Early in Development", and besides maybe writing the story, the actual technical part of making a game is about 95% of the work. Concept art and art direction is made/decided on in the first stage of development, AKA, during the "Early Development" stage. Furthermore, do not underestimate the time and money it takes to make these cinematic trailers and how early on in development AAA studios will release these for the public. The hype this game generates because of this trailer already makes them money, not nearly enough to cover the costs of the game but that's why they do it early on in development. Lastly, and I cannot stress this enough, making games costs money, and A LOT of it. Their publisher and shareholders are going to be on their ass to release this game as soon as possible because the longer they take to develop it, the more it costs and that's precisely where the AAA tag can be a disadvantage. They'll care more for reaching the deadline than releasing the game finely polished and this is where you *really* need to be careful with your hype. Because if the last 10 years have taught us ANYTHING, it's that a good looking cinematic trailers, long development times, big budgets, AAA titled studios or multi-billion dollar franchises don't guarantee ANYTHING when it comes to quality, if anything they've become warning signs of a game that will make the exact same mistakes such games have made in the last 10 years. Hype is a dangerous thing and it's better to wait and see rather than taking the word of a AAA title. I wouldn't be surprised if the game has a terrible release that is buggy and disappointing. It's nice to be optimistic and I don't want to make it seem like I'm telling you how it is, this is just my opinion based on experience.
Quantic Dream games are heavy on story and dialogue options and very very light in gameplay so I’m interested if they’ll be any combat/exploration in this game and what that’ll look like
I tell people all the time, there are always wars in Star wars. The thing about the High Republic is there was no galactic war, meaning one in thousands of systems or more. We can still see Jedi intervene in civil wars during virtually any timeline. We can also see system wars with 3-8 planets during most star wars timelines. They could even pull off a war with several systems and dozens of planets every now and then (the Republic has millions of systems anyway). They could also have like one conflict (but only one because this would be the max size conflict for this era) with hundreds of planets and dozens of systems.
Finally, looking so much forward to this! Seeing the High Republic come to live like this is exhilarating! I do think it closer to the end of the era than before the books, simply because of those ship designs, but who knows! Maybe the N-1 and Lucrehulks really were 250 year old designs by the time of TPM.:)
I think the HR era having some prequel era looking ships like the Lucrehulk and the docked refugee ship from EP2 in the background builds the world, showing how old some ships can be.
To comments on seeing Lucrehulks, the Naboo fighter, and other "prequel era" designs during this HR period, 200 years is relatively a short expanse of time compared to how long the technological development of the Republic has been. Designs that work well in sci-fi/fantasy space of star wars wouldn't change that much in that amount of time. Look at our space shuttles from our little blue and green rock; their designs haven't changed all that much over the last 60 ish years
Considering Quantic Dream's track record I would temper my expectations when it comes to any kind of gameplay or impactful choices that drastically change the outcome of the story. I expect qte's, choices in the moment that flavor the scenes, and a cool visual setpieces, hopefully it will prove me wrong but I'm setting my bar at a reasonable level.
Altho the game was eventually massive disappointment, check out the announce trailer for 40k Dawn of War 3 . Warhammer fans will understand .... Come back and tell me which of the two you liked better , altho lore knowledge matters alot in both of these :))
I agree, different is good. Star wars is special because of its versatility. It can make soldier, police, super hero, villain, ancient, shaskpearean, and so many other style stories to bring in different fan groups. They should have a Canon storyline for the lore like KOTOR did.
Something worth mentioning and going a bit deeper about is the drums themselves that these alien drummers are playing on. Star Wars in general is heavily inspired from Japanese culture, and those drums are no exception. The drums they're playing on are called o-daiko, and they do carry quite a bit of significance as they had many uses (ceremonial, as entertainment, etc...) but they were also used in warfare to direct the troops for example (among other uses). Given this "end of golden age" setting, they can be interpreted as the drums that signal the start of a war that brings an end to the golden age. Basically they announce a star war (pun intended). On a side note: I wish they'd played the drum piece live for the Game Awards, as these drums, from what I've been told by a relative who saw these played lie in Japan, literally make the ground quake when played in large groups like that. Seeing this live would have been quite the experience IMO.
When I looked at the wookipedia article, it said the HR era lasted until 82 BBY, so the lucrehulks and the n1 might have be the newest things at the time. I mean, we don't have a starting point for either ship in Canon (I think), and I doubt that a whole lot would change in ship designs if the designs worked well enough for what they were meant for.
@@verticalfracture Yeah, even i canon it was said, that Federation only started buying modyfied Lucrehulks, meaning regular ones were probably already on the market for some time, and considering Federation had a lot of them in Phantom Menace era already, we can assume they were being build for at least a decade already at that point, so saying thet were in use for over 30 years is nothing strange
@@lewycraft It looks like this will be in the boonies of the galaxy too so it could be the TF testing the concept out in a way that wont get them smacked down by the republic. More interestingly this could be where they get in trouble and earn their reputation. It didn't seem like anyone was particularly surprised that the TF was up to shady biz in Ep1.

As awesome as this seems, I’m not getting my hopes up until it’s actually on shelves. So many possibly good Star Wars games have been canned in the last few years.
setting the game so far in the past gives a lot of freedom in terms of branching paths and the like, since it doesn't matter too much for the main star wars story what exactly was going on 200 years ago

Thanks for the info man. I literally saw this trailer 20 minutes ago,and I'm after background. I have played Quantic Dream games before but this...... This is something else. It's an Outstanding trailer for QD to debut. On their first steps into the Star Wars verse. I will bet Lucas, Filoni and Favreau are going Wow! To themselves too.
Is it just me or do the drumming guys in the trailer look a bit like Marchion Ro's species with the point ears and the all-black eyes? Although Ro clearly has a nose where these guys don't really. Could be related somehow though
If this takes place before the High Republic content we are currently getting, then perhaps we could see the origings of the Trade Federation. But I have the feeling it's going to take place closer to the Acolyte
Now, I think that the person who appeared before the scene with the army with the Y symbol and the one looking at the eclipse are the same(they do have the same eye color and body color scheme). Also, I think she briefly appeared in The Day the Statue Fell comic so this might go to 382 BBY. Or just a coincidence...
It's by Quantic Dream, so expect stilted writing, horrible messages, and the actors needing to try and salvage the lines they're given between repetitive QTE sections with little engagement aside from pressing the proper buttons when they show up on screen.
This trailer came out of nowhere and it’s made by an amazing game designer. Alex this breakdown is awesome and I am going to get back into the high republic again!!!
The only question I have is what are we going to see: Good looking graphics with mostly QTE scripts a - la Quantic Dream regulars or a Mass Effect-esque action RPG but with open or semi - open worlds.
While it's awesome to see a game set in the High Republic, I admit to being a little nervous given it's Quantic Dream. given their catalog contains things like Indigo Prophecy and Beyond Two Souls.... I am willing to give this one a shot, but I am going to be very cautious about it
Knowing Quantic Dreams as developer, i am quite positive the visuals you just saw in the video are actually piece of the game it self an not a CGI just made for a trailer... now about the gameplay, quantic dreams developed games usually are not for everyone, they have their own pace, they are mny times compared to interactive movies with multiple endings, where actions and decisions can impact deeply the story. Now, this game is also being labeled as an action adventure type, which can be deceiving, since without gameplay footage its hard to say how flexible and deep can the action be part of the core gameplay. To my knoledge one of the typical componennts of this developer gameplay is quick time events, which for me personaly is not much apealing, despite i love their games and respect them a lot as developers, because their games are everytime filled with quantiy, and i wouldnt expect less from here considering the absolutely stunning trailer visuals. So, if they kinda manage to evolve their core of gameplay into something more flexible regarding action and less QTE (quick time events) based... it would be insanely good for the industry, since normally their games are inovaing and with compelling story writting. Starwars is a powerfull brand, and this studio has the power to deliver here a masterpiece.
An interesting thing is that the Lucrehulks weren't armed until Palpatine gave them a reason to. And Palpatine wasn't born until the literal final year of the High Republic. So it maybe stretched a bit beyond the High Republic era. Also the Neimodians weren't ibvolved with the Trade Federation until one year before TPM
I think that the game will take place far closer to the prequels than this video is making it seem- I see so many ships in the crevices of this trailer that are from the phantom menace and even attack of the clones. I could see this as a tie-in with the acolyte, and it rewarding readers of the high republic novels by referencing Avar and all those classic characters we now know and love.
Our choices making a deep impact on the concourse of the game can be summed up to a question with three answers: "Will you go on this fetch mission for me?" "Yes. / No, but I will do it anyway. / Screw you, I'll do it." My guess is the "branching storyline" will be nothing more than a linear plot where only a few lines of dialog change -- as is the case in every single "branching storyline" game.

Hopefully we'll be able to explore Coruscant and the Jedi Temple a bit, it would be fun to poke around and compare it to the prequel era Temple
I think that city might actually BE Jedha in its prime.
I was thinking maybe we'd see the conflict they had with the Jedi that's been talked about, that felt like something they could tell without causing hassle with the publishing side since it's mentioned being so far back but then that dude turned around and looked nothing like Ro so that theory's a bust but still it was fun having that in my head even briefly
i looked at the website. seems like it's going to be the same format as games like Detroit: Become Human
@@ProfessorCheeba really?
I can't wait to see this game do well and watch the people who hate the High Republic based on the opinions of RUclipsrs/clickbait articles come up with their own opinions. I've noticed that most people who vehemently hate the High Republic are breathtakingly misinformed on what the era actually is.
For me the N-1 Starfighter was always more of a ceremonial starfighter based on a much older ship so it actually makes total sense they’d be around in this era
I just hope whatever it is isn't a letdown. What we were shown looks promising tho. I'm a fan of this new era
I'm really not much of gamer but Star Wars: Eclipse looks absolutely amazing.
The company making it, Quantic Dreams, is notorious for their games being mostly story driven and almost like interactive movies as they focus more on individual choices instead of action gameplay. It will probably be a great game for someone who isn’t much of a gamer
Good for you - if its anything like like previous works of David cage, it will be an interactive film.
Thank you, Alex! 🎨🖌️
Won't happen. Not the dev's style.
@@matthewm5581 I mean I don't think it's that radical of an idea, especially considering it's one of the most xeno rich worlds in all of science fiction. I wouldn't think there would be tons of available species, but I would think even EA could pull that off, but ill admit I don't have much knowledge of Quantic Dream games. I'm not sure how this early into the process we can even predict thar answer
They’ll prolly have set characters that you play as
Not really the developers' style, but it doesn't mean it won't happen for perhaps one character.
I love seeing the Trade Federation ships!! Also was that a Geonosian fighter on the planet with the creature?
Yaaay more High Republic. For light and life!!!
The DRUMS!!! Those wonderful DRUMS!!!
It’s crazy how the Star Wars experts have no idea where this take place, or who these people are! 😟
I don't think this is too far before Phantom Menace maybe a decade to 50 years earlier, maybe this is the Stark Hyperspace War from old canon.
The fact that they have this amazing looking trailer yet the game is "still in early development" actually ignites warning signs all over in my head.
A Fable game style Star Wars game with this visual design would be great!
Quantic Dream games are heavy on story and dialogue options and very very light in gameplay so I’m interested if they’ll be any combat/exploration in this game and what that’ll look like
Honestly, it would be really cool if we got the chance to be involved in a relatively (to things like the clone wars) small scale, sector-wide war.
Look at our space shuttles from our little blue and green rock; their designs haven't changed all that much over the last 60 ish years
Also ships are extremely expensive, so it makes sence to use them for hundreds of years.
If they include the 2 Siths (Master and Apprentice) of the Bane lineage (Darths) in any way whatsoever it will be GOLD
With the way Quantic Dream tells stories and how they do branching storylines, this has the potential to be the best Star Wars game to date.
I don't know any thing about quantic dream but I hope your right
Only the best in story not gameplay.

Could the big Y army pointed out at 4:50 be the Zygerrian slave empire in its height? Idk if they are, but they kinda look Zygerrian to me
Where do I pre-order?? This looks amazing
I’m guessing at least a year and a half until preorders open since it’s coming out 2023
Considering Quantic Dream's track record I would temper my expectations when it comes to any kind of gameplay or impactful choices that drastically change the outcome of the story. I expect qte's, choices in the moment that flavor the scenes, and a cool visual setpieces, hopefully it will prove me wrong but I'm setting my bar at a reasonable level.
This is the greatest trailer for ANYTHING that I've ever seen
Altho the game was eventually massive disappointment, check out the announce trailer for 40k Dawn of War 3 . Warhammer fans will understand .... Come back and tell me which of the two you liked better , altho lore knowledge matters alot in both of these :))
I agree, different is good. Star wars is special because of its versatility. It can make soldier, police, super hero, villain, ancient, shaskpearean, and so many other style stories to bring in different fan groups. They should have a Canon storyline for the lore like KOTOR did.
4:53 First time I seen this part I thought of Rhen Var harbour, a map in the original Battlefront.
I was awestruck with how beautiful the visuals were for this game trailer. It was just how I saw it reading the HR.
I mean, we don't have a starting point for either ship in Canon (I think), and I doubt that a whole lot would change in ship designs if the designs worked well enough for what they were meant for.
the lucrehulks seem to be a new design. They are also smaller than the ones we saw in the prequals
But in 90 BBY THR was in universe mentioned, so it must have ended before that
@@lewycraft It looks like this will be in the boonies of the galaxy too so it could be the TF testing the concept out in a way that wont get them smacked down by the republic. Those lukrehulks have odd bulging bits around their edges that are not seen in other variations so far.

As awesome as this seems, I’m not getting my hopes up until it’s actually on shelves. So many possibly good Star Wars games have been canned in the last few years.
Totally agree, and not just SW games. Devs as a whole have really been floundering lately… hopefully this is a breath of fresh air
@@thomasgolds4585 To be fair, the devs themselves are at the top of their game. It’s the higher ups making questionable decisions and cutting corners.

Yes we’re here for it 👌🏽
Yeah, those Lucrehulks are subtly different, with little "compass marks" around the ring.
It would be cool to have them be the good guys in this.
setting the game so far in the past gives a lot of freedom in terms of branching paths and the like, since it doesn't matter too much for the main star wars story what exactly was going on 200 years ago
The ship on the coastal:beach setting looks like Port Haileap.

this looks so god damn amazing!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
This trailer really felt like a mix of Star Wars and Dune.

Unbelievably good trailer
Thanks for the info man. I literally saw this trailer 20 minutes ago,and I'm after background.
I have played Quantic Dream games before but this...... This is something else. It's an Outstanding trailer for QD to debut. On their first steps into the Star Wars verse. I will bet Lucas, Filoni and Favreau are going Wow! To themselves too.
I thought that first planet might actually have been Jedha, and we'd see that statue we see in rogue one but actually standing.
Is it just me or do the drumming guys in the trailer look a bit like Marchion Ro's species with the point ears and the all-black eyes? Although Ro clearly has a nose where these guys don't really. Could be related somehow though
I really want to be excited for this, but Quantic Dream makes that very difficult
between drums, goo man, and massive new ships, im getting lots of Dune vibes
I love the use of Japanese Taiko drums in this trailer. I play these drums and its great to see this great art used by mainstream places.
Its like when they used Mongolian metal music for fallen order. Great band the Hu
If this takes place before the High Republic content we are currently getting, then perhaps we could see the origings of the Trade Federation. But I have the feeling it's going to take place closer to the Acolyte
Isnt the woman we saw in the trailer really looks like Avar Kriss? I think that's her.
This looks amazing, all I am hopeful for is that it actually gets released!
Can't believe how amazing this trailer is! Hopefully the game lives up to the hype!
Excellent! So excited for this! What a thing to wake up to
Your so-called Y fight remind me of the of the V-19 torrent starfighter without it’s rotating middle wing.
I'm excited about this, I'm a huge fan of Quantic Dream games
Now, I think that the person who appeared before the scene with the army with the Y symbol and the one looking at the eclipse are the same(they do have the same eye color and body color scheme). Also, I think she briefly appeared in The Day the Statue Fell comic so this might go to 382 BBY. Or just a coincidence...
It's by Quantic Dream, so expect stilted writing, horrible messages, and the actors needing to try and salvage the lines they're given between repetitive QTE sections with little engagement aside from pressing the proper buttons when they show up on screen.
I have a feeling those aliens are Grysks… they fit the description very well

This trailer came out of nowhere and it’s made by an amazing game designer. Alex this breakdown is awesome and I am going to get back into the high republic again!!!
The only question I have is what are we going to see:
Good looking graphics with mostly QTE scripts a - la Quantic Dream regulars or a Mass Effect-esque action RPG but with open or semi - open worlds.
While it's awesome to see a game set in the High Republic, I admit to being a little nervous given it's Quantic Dream.

There's Yavin in this trailer right
An interesting thing is that the Lucrehulks weren't armed until Palpatine gave them a reason to. And Palpatine wasn't born until the literal final year of the High Republic. So it maybe stretched a bit beyond the High Republic era. Also the Neimodians weren't ibvolved with the Trade Federation until one year before TPM
I know a lot of people are not a fan of MMO, but honestly this would be a very great start for a good one, but story mode is always the way!
I think this game is very early in development, so the prequel ships could easily be placeholder models or something.
Reckon that last dude is Darth Plagueis?
I think that the game will take place far closer to the prequels than this video is making it seem- I see so many ships in the crevices of this trailer that are from the phantom menace and even attack of the clones. I could see this as a tie-in with the acolyte, and it rewarding readers of the high republic novels by referencing Avar and all those classic characters we now know and love.
Nute Gunshow
Our choices making a deep impact on the concourse of the game can be summed up to a question with three answers: "Will you go on this fetch mission for me?" "Yes. / No, but I will do it anyway. / Screw you, I'll do it." My guess is the "branching storyline" will be nothing more than a linear plot where only a few lines of dialog change -- as is the case in every single "branching storyline" game.
