I think that the black stuff and the guy rising out of the slime might be one of the unknown regions horrors called
Mnggal-Mnggal a flood like entity (from halo) that enjoys torturing and possessing people and things until they turn into black slime.
1:38 You said precedes? That would make the demilitarization of the Jedi not happen until about 550 years after The Last Jedi movie.
Did you mean to say the high republic period follows 800 years AFTER the reformation?
The dude in the black liquid. perhaps sith alchemical experiments with life
The guy leading the army... possibly Pantoran?
I have a feeling that this might be the "birth" of Darth Plagueis and the Sith's role in the downfall of the High Republic.
I honestly dont care if a video game is cannon or colides with cannon as long as the game makes sense in itself. Like just let us have fun in the star wars galaxy. I´d love to have a Skyrim style star wars game. You can be whoever you want, do whatever you want, go wherever you like. Be a Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, a Simple Soldier or even a Jedi. I hope such a game comes out one day
In the scene by the ocean there was a crashed n1 starfighter
idk, I've been screwed over by EA/Activision too many time to trust games lol
@3:05 i like how it looks like a lightsaber lol but with an old hand guard
I hope we get old republic armour isn't something that looks like clone amrour or mandolin amrour
I suspect this game won't respect the extended lore as much as you like. But there seems to be a lot of promise for quality game play.
Guy coming out of the dark liquid? Harkkonen. Clearly.
Sorry for my bad spelling: I was breaking down the trailer for my friends and I thought it was the Yuuzhan Vong vs the Chist wars.
You can see the Chist in battle armor and the
Yuuzhan Vong have very distinct noses. Lemme know!
The trailer had me super hyped until I saw the Quantic Dream logo at the end. I hope David Cage can keep his weird pretentious stank off this game, but I'm not holding my breath.
Is this the open world game they have been speaking about? I’m so excited me and the wife always smash battlefront so can’t wait for this
While it's possible, I doubt it. Quantic Dream is known for linear choose your own adventure "interactive movie" type games. I imagine that the open world game is the one being developed by Ubisoft
That planet looks like Onderon.
Alan your love your content I think all the dudes beating on the drums are part of the same race as Darth Plagueis if you look at them closely they have the same type of nose as he does . I know there eyes are a little bit more beady kinda smaller than Plagueis but maybe that was Plagueis rising out of that black stuff in some kind of sith ritual would be kinda cool if it was plagueis.
Ok, this could be cool, but I’m still waiting to play a game set in the mandalorian wars time frame.
Hey! ☝🏻If I’ve watched this far, then I’m Generation Tech.
So, the main villain in the High Republic is the Flood?
I can see this early thanks to Facebook
Can't Eclipse be related to Black Sun cartel?
I hope you can create your character and its open space type of game.
I was hoping for open world, highly customizable, but whatever lol, I'll take what I can get.
Sorry, but your explanation of the time period is a bit confusing to me. You say the High Republic era is ~200 Before Battle of Yevin, and then say it _'preceeds'_ the Ruusan Reformation, which was ~1000 years BBY. Could you clarify this a bit, please? I'm not sure if this is a slight goof, or I'm just not comprehending the wording.
Thank you for explaining the raison d’être of the game.
I’m hearing impaired and sometimes rely on closed-captioning (aka cc) to make full sense of these videos. The only cc available was in Russian. Your vids usually offer English and sometimes Spanish (I’m bilingual)…but not this one. Is this how your cc will roll going forward.
All hail the dolphin empire
Damn, I was so hyped for this game until I found out who was making it. No offense to anyone, but I don't like interactive movie-style games. I hope everyone who is looking forward to it will love it.
That could be C3PO before anakin finds him
The guy coming out of the pool it is either a resurrected sith Lord or the son That's my ghost
It sounds kinda like it might be an open world game, like a Star Wars version of Skyrim or Witcher 3
The Tau have arrived in the Star Wars Galaxy to wage war for The Greater Good.
Plot Twist: You are part of a heavy metal Sith band.
