- We visited the P&O Iona Limelight Club recently, but was it worth the money or was it a waste of time?

The Limelight Club on the P&O Iona is an adults only, exclusive dining and show experience.
The evening consists of a well known performer while you enjoy an exclusive three course meal, but is it actually worth the money?
In this P&O Iona Limelight Club vlog, we take you step by step through the evening and give you a full, honest review on the food, the act and the value for money.
The price of the Limelight Club depends on which act is on. We saw the brilliant Debra Stephenson, a British Comedy Impressionist. We paid £20 each for the evening, the entertainment and the three course meal.
We loved Debra Stephenson's act in the Limelight Club, but did we love the food and the over all atmosphere? Be sure to watch to the end to fond out.

Postcard & A Pint was thought up by my partner, Rachel & myself, Wills one day while taking our daily 1 hour exercise during the lockdown of 2020. All of a sudden, we were spending more time together, not working 6 or 7 days a week in the arts industry, and binge watching travel programs, and we were actually really enjoying it, and it made us re-evaluate what was important in life for us. Now back to working 6 or 7 days a week again, with very little time off, our happy time is getting out there on our brief times off together and making short travel videos that we are now sharing with you. Totally agree worth every penny we have seen Lee Mead and Mary Mac both brilliant It’s the fist thing we book a really nice concept a meal and an act in a lovely setting

This is a great idea to review this experience so that other people know if it's worth doing. Personally, I thought the hamhock thing looked👎.
The mains looked very good though! But the chocolate dessert look best of all!!🙌
The chocolate desert was the best thing! The ham hock tasted ok, just didn't taste like ham hock!!

Youve got us thinking about taking a P&O cruise now! Fancy booking one. I did the Norwegian Fjords a few years back on one and loved it. 😍 Lovenall your videos. There was great vegan offerings at The Limelight Club, and as someone who tries to eat more vegetarian, I really like this attention to detail!
The fjords is right up there on our list of places to cruise!! Go for it and book! Yes, there was always a vege and vegan offering and they were always tasty when we ordered them (we're also trying to eat less meat!). Cheers 🍻

Wow! this is some classy place, I always as for my beef well done, I love it but it has to be well done... actually everything I eat needs to be well done. This started when I was a kid and had chicken that wasn't done all the way through, yuck! It's nice to treat yourself once in awhile... I'm really impressed with the Limelight club, I'm happy you enjoyed it! ❤

Ah thanks for taking us along on your date night guys! We really enjoyed that 🤩👌. Not convinced on the sheeba cat food starter 😹. You guys do crack us up😂. But the rest of the food looked yummy 😋. Wills you did draw the short straw with the shredded wheat strudel compared to Rach's chocolate bomb 🍫😂 😋. Deborah Stevenson looked like a fun act, and £20 per person is a reasonable price we think. Lovin the bonus midweek postcard fix 😊👍.

Ah thanks guys. The Debs starter was actually very tasty! Just didn't taste like ham hock!! Yep I definitely got the best desert! Debra was fantastic and we were made up she was on our cruise! Is that an optical illusion or is the band behind glass?
The band were behind the act but the drummer was behind a perspex drum screen. They’re very common, it just stops a bit of spill from the kit into the other mics onstage
Cat food for appetizer might be a pass. Shredded wheat for dessert. Hmm

If you pay more for some acts and not others is this because the entertainers well known or something? Otherwise how do you know if somebody is worth 40 quid and not 20? Wills' magic trick is worth at least a tenner. 😂
I think some are considered more famous than others. We were well happy with Deborah Stevenson. Don't encourage Wills the amateur magician. 🍻
