I created an own stack with a slightly broken Classics Custom Trash Splash (12") on top of a Thomas Lang Synthetic Crash (16"). But I didn't turn them around, so the smaller cymbal lies on the bigger one but in their original positions (like played for usual). Really ahort and aggressive sound that also works out as a dry china!

When I bought my first cheap drum kit, it came with some really crappy hihats.
Sounded just like some of these! Muffled, dry, uninspiring, trash bin like...
Funny how now stacks look for those "trashy" sounds" 😆

The drummer is excellent, but I do not like the tone of these cymbals.

I've got a stack that sounds similar to his stack in the standard crash location
It's a broken 18inch wuhan crash/ride on top of a verrrrryyy broken (cracked from edge to the bell in a straight line) 10inch wuhan splash
    Enjoyable informative video, thanks!

Please tell me what drum set that is, and if the snare is part of it. The whole kit sounds really good.

It's in the description of basically all their demos I think. Pretty sure it's a Yamaha maple custom absolute but I'm not sure

I own the second stack to the left And it sounds much better alittle tighter than that. Too loose.

Why can't you just use a remote stand for the second hi hat? The pedal is worthless

The far right one sounds stunningly beautiful. Not enough playing on them!
