As a musician I have great respect for any musical form that has influenced billions of people's lives.The lyrics are often poetry of a high form. Whether they are technically challenging just depends on how they are played. Much of the work of Bach was church music or hymns and Bach is NOT simplistic. Religious music speaks to a deep place within people. As a musician I respect that power. And also...thanks for the kind words, dude.

Why waste your time with hymns? They have little to no technicality required; i doubt they are teaching you anything. I guess if it was for the fun it would make sense. Oh well.
