    O Love That Will Not Let Me Go
    O Love that wilt not let me go,
    I rest my weary soul in Thee;
    I give Thee back the life I owe,
    That in Thine ocean depths its flow
    May richer, fuller be.
    O Joy that seekest me through pain,
    I cannot close my heart to Thee;
    I trace the rainbow through the rain,
    And feel the promise is not vain,
    That morn shall tearless be.
    O Cross that liftest up my head,
    I dare not ask to fly from Thee;
    I lay in dust life’s glory dead,
    And from the ground there blossoms red
    Life that shall endless be.

    A hymn to bring tears to the old eyes, when remembering the intense sadness of its origins.
    Many thanks for this moving rendition my friends,

      @@OasisChorale Only as the Lord will lead ya .... our granddaughter sang in this hometown choir, it was a concert of Hymns, so when they sang that hymn I noticed the joyfulness of the truth of the Great I Am and such a tune and blend of voices I so enjoy listening to all of you sing ...such ministering music making melody with hearts unto the Lord...

    Nicely done but the interpretation lacks build up. Every time the verses transcend it speaks of "Joy.." and "O cross that liftest up..." and to my liking it should have levels of spirited interpretation. The whole performance was great, chords are on point, but feels like "mourning" than feeling the wonderful love of someone that will not let you go.

      Reve Gamboa thanks for the input. We did work on interpretation for this piece quite a bit, but there is always work to be done:)

    Did you listen to Danny Gaithers' version before singing this?
