The comments section have spoken. Team Zigwheels, give this man a raise. 😀 Also, I sat on the Hunter, Ronin, Bullet, Classic and Continental GT. I have to say, Hunter feels so tiny. Even the Ronin feels substantial in comparison. My feeling is that Hunter is better suited for female riders and men who would prefer short and light version of Bullet or Classic. Even the name Hunter kind of compliments the name Bullet. Mind you, I haven't taken a test ride, so my judgement is subject to revision. 😊
@@sravan6492 While 180kg might sound too much, fact is the vehicle feels really light and easy to handle. Also I have seen many women riding Bullet, so I believe the Hunter might be a blessing for them.
@@sravan6492 you're right, 180kgs is not light. But the Hunter is not just small, it's also very compact from the sides. So moving the bike in your parking or crawling through traffic feels very manageable. You should go check it out, might just surprise you.
Get the Metro, paint the tank silver or black or yellow or some other mono colour, get tubeless ready spoke rims (lot of people make tubeless conversions) and swap the clutch lever for the one on the Retro. You have the ultimate Hunter 350.
Retro all the way......Indian road conditions were shit so spoke wheel might fit well for most of them unless u guys ride in the highway most of the time...... Imagine if you ran into a pot hole with a alloy wheel at high speed
I want the more toned down looks of the Retro in a dual channel ABS alloy wheel version ! Why won't RE sell something like that :-( . With my extremely limited use, spending a whopping 50k+ more on the classic is getting increasingly difficult to justify.
@@sravan6492 i'm on board with that, what I'd like to see is bikemakers offering rim conversion kits in accessories. The option isn't available and that feels limiting, no?
Yes i also believe the ex showroom for retro should be 1.39 as it misses out on so many features and with the tag of 1.49 ex showroom the retro is a bit overpriced and not a value for money motorcycle
Wire spokes rims without main stand is not a good deal. Retro should be offered with center stand right from the factory. The alloy equipped tubeless setup of metro is good enough to skip the main stand.
@@den0 generally, I am not a hasty rider. So that won't be a big issue. The only thing that is in my mind is that the average touring speed of any RE is 70-90.. which my Access can also do.. so I don't understand how, I can justify getting something worth 2lakhs and having very very little upgrade to show for it..
@@thecrazysharma Unless you ride an RE in traffic, you have no idea how much more difficult it is compared to an Access even to just crawl along. And as for touring, 90 on a motorcycle feels way better than 90 on a scooter. If you're thinking about value for money in this segment, then maybe look at the 150 to 200cc from Bajaj / TVS / Honda? Those will be way more manageable in traffic and definitely be an upgrade from the Access in touring.
@@den0 I totally agree with you. But I really don't want to buy a motorcycle if that is not an RE. So I have put myself in a tough spot where I want value for money. But only in an RE motorcycle. I know sounds crazy.
I spoke with a royal enfield rep recently, and they said both the the spoked and alloy rimmed version of the classic use tubeless tires. So that was incorrect? Pardon my tire ignorance.
I'm sure you can. Most manufacturers are now selling main stands under accessories but always make provisions for one to be fitted. Check kar ley with your local dealership.
I mean, why not? If you put your mind to it, sure you can. But it's a lot of work man, not much of which the company's warranty will cover. So between parts and labor charges, you'd rather just pay for the nid segment. Rather get one of those tail tidy kits RE sells and turn this into scrambler 😬

Totally agree. His english is really good too.
That means Retro is my type because my area roads are made by God himself to help us to reach the god easily while riding
True...lol.....Also for a fun ride in desert and mountains, it must be retro.....Can't always ride in highway🙃
Love the host. Loved listning to him. Thanks for the informative and fun video man 👍🏻👌🏻

I don't think female riders can handle 180 kgs of weight especially in traffic.. if they are experienced riders then won't be a problem though

I wish both the variants had selection of alloy wheels or spoke wheels as an add on accessory.
Absolutely! Why is retrofit wheels not a thing yet???
@@ishanlee9371 it requires different calipers for spokes wheels and alloy wheels
If the retro had rear disc option, it'd be an amazing option. The metro doesn't look as good

Retro requires price correction 1.39L
Metro requires more color combos
Dapper O Dapper.
Thanks yo!

No confusion at all, metro is the one I'll choose even without watching any video
I am the IT guy, but I would go for retro!
Stylish, yet practical. :)
I too prefer the Retro
yess!! my only concern is the skimmer tyres but the rest i like retro better
Retro Gray...

Just booked Dapper Ash ❤️
Lovely review Ishan Lee. 🌹
gracias, mi amor
I hope RE will export the Retro to Europe.
I want Hunter Metro in Retro colour. I hate dual tone colour. I want plain colours.
Go for dapper series

Then bro what we should buy ? Pls suggest
Very good editing of the video
As both have different tyres, then they should have different fuel efficiency as well ?
yes, the metro has less fuel economy
Why can't we just get the alloy wheels from metro and attach it to the retro?
The retro model looks really poor & small
So u have a Shumi replacement now.
Do they provide bybre disc setup on dapper series? There is no branding of bybre on the calipers.
Retro looks prettier
Is it good for beginners?
