@@randyweaver7470 whats up ur arse dude?
5:03 - That moment when you realize that they can still safely go back to where they started. God, I wish they would ever go back to the heavy sound.
Cause of metalcore bands, like AA, I bought a guitar at 15. I remember learning The Final Episode and practicing to hit the 0s in between which at the time was hard as fuck.
Literal FACTS
@@AngelBornnHell did you used to watch Slipfold7knot as well? 🤣
@@H.E.M. YES BRO ☠️☠️☠️ omg so many memories
@@AngelBornnHell 😂 dude was a beast
Oh dude I’ve just bought my first ever Les Paul and I’m so gonna learn that riff I can’t wait
Ben is legit never going to color in his sleeve
That's what makes recognisable. You would recognize this hands everywhere 😅
The guy who was doing his sleeve passed so he left it like that in memory of him
Bruh fr been a long ass time too ☠️
My thoughts exactly!! haha
@@fuckinglegend3743 oh shit. So it makes sense as to why Ben has left it alone all these years.
I remember seeing Ben on here 6 years ago, he's definitely gotten better since
Ben is an awesome dude loved the RUclips stuff he did with his kid
Link?
He looked like he had so much fun playing The Final Episode. So sad they ignore those old albums completely.
I pray to God they play some old ones during their upcoming tour with ADTR
@@aidansimmers6146 to be completely honest, that would be awesome. But if you’ve seen any live content of theirs from the LAST time they did play that older stuff, like 2017-2018, I’d rather them just not play anything at all.
Danny is not that much into heavy music anymore, maybe that's the way they figured out to stay together as a band, since they're close friends
@@aidansimmers6146 no chance...
@@Fouldeformation saw them in 2018 with parkway drive, they played some older songs and honestly they were pretty good? Danny's vocals were still incredible to be honest.
The final episode still hits so hard! Love this series!
I find it so interesting that ben still has his accent and Danny doesn’t.
Danny tore a vocal chord + he has more developed voice + he did more drugs and alcohol....
That's because Danny puts it on because he hates where he came from
@@beardedweirdo790 Lol What.. People just pick up things at a different rate to others. In Danny's case, it was the constant drugs and touring that did it.. Being completely off his head whilst being surrounded by Americans, led him to develop speaking habits. Combine that with the fact that his wife is American and he loves country music, it made his Yorkshire accent more or less disappear. Similar to how Steve-O did so much drugs that he literally forgot how to speak, which is why he sounds like he's speaking from his throat. Like I said, everyone is different.
@@johny.3400 bro, it's an accent, not singing.
It's just that Danny feels more American than British. I mean, how many Brits do you know that post about 9/11 on Instagram on the day it happened? When it happened, Danny was a 10yo kid, probably at school in fucking Yorkshire.
It has nothing to do with "vocal chord integrity and substance abuse habits".
Some people don't like their origin, or like their new environment better. It is what it is.
@@vinnregi4882 He's also more than likely adapted to Florida's lifestyle by now.
Man, he looks so young with short hair and no beard. You would never guess his age by watching this video unless you know who he is. 🤷♂️
I swear the older he gets the more baby faced he becomes
Can’t wait for their new album! Ben is great guitar player didn’t know he could solo like that until I heard alone again!
My favourite guitarist and from the same county as me, always loved him
Ben Bruce is legit in my top 3 favorites guitar players. That shit he wrote for moving on is so hypnotizing and melodic… n yeah they over lay the acoustic and the heavy Rythem guitars, but the lead lick he wrote for that song just resonated with my soul. U the effin man Ben Bruce!! Like u in American satan too!!!
Same, it's so beautiful. The chorus and intro leads are beautiful, but the clean guitar on the verses is *chefs kiss*
I love his 000-s on the first albums
A lot of elitist guitarist shit on it, but it sounds cooler than like every technical band I've heard. I've always felt like metal is more about energy than technicality. Their first two albums are like the best albums to headbang to. Their third is softer but it's my favorite album of all time
@@clintbeasthood9758 agree
He looks really healthy nowadays! Good for him and the rest of the AA boys for not going too off the rails!
Ben is one of my favorite guitarists.. I love his his playstyle.
That’s a really nice guitar… I remember when I used to listen to A. A. Back when they were younger, how I loved them.
Hearing The Final Episode is so bittersweet for me man...
Love to hear this from Ben Bruce!
The video i was expecting months ago! Fuck yeah! We love you Ben!
I'm a simple man,i see Ben Bruce,I click
I had never heard the band until I heard a song from their new album in the car yesterday. The new album is a modern classic. It made me happy, like listening to Appetite for destruction or master of puppets for the first time.
Crazy how influential Nirvana were and is
Awesome! I'm listening to the new album nonstop! Love it so much!
Here I am two years later.
GG Ben 🤘
See What's on the inside's riff lowkey reminds me of Moving on.
If you were to put a trap beat underneath, that would sound like Polyphia lol!
How have I grown to look older then someone I first found at 14, I’m 27 now lol
@ Benbruce Good To See you on here Homie!
anybody else kinda obssessed with this guitar Ben is rocking?
Where the same Ben I feel so proud when I play your riffs final episode
After watching him since I started playing guitar, he has matured so much, I don't think he cracked a single joke, and that makes me kinda sad.
Hearing Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Chile (slight return) was what made me want to learn guitar.
I’m thinking of o many dad jokes involving, “o my god.” I won’t torture you
Ahh yes, the genius that wrote all those catchy riffs from Stand up and scream.
And the first riff you wrote for asking alexandria was a pretty badass riff mang! Haha!! 🤘🏻😜
Love you ben ❤️
He’s a legend fo sho
This 15 year old kid can def play
the blues riff in moving on captured my musical attention and shed light on riff progression in that modal direction Kee p the content live and raw. the fans want to know
Not a shot at Ben, but is no one going to talk about the lack of downpicking in Through The Never?
Edit: After finishing watching this interview, I have realized that this is probably the most serious I have ever heard Ben speak in an interview.
Ben is absolutely goated
OMG that The Finale Episode riff killed me. Miss that sound of them so much
The Final Episode 🤘🏽 my favorite AA riff!
“Super easy to play, one of the best and iconic riffs ever”
Proceeds to play in wrong key
Van Halen's 1984 made me want to play the guitar. I was 9 years old in 1984 and I lost my mind. Whenever my mom went shopping downtown, I would beg her to let me go to the music store while she shopped. I would just stand at the counter and stare at each guitar. I was obsessed with strats. I just thought they were the coolest. One day the guy got one down and said "You want to try it out?" I couldn't talk, just nodded. He took it to a practice booth, plug it into the amp, hit the distortion and handed it to me. I remember it was summer and he was the only other person there. He had the front door opened. He got a kick out of me, I think. He said it wasn't loud enough so he turned the volume up. My mom came to get me and I think she was horrified when she saw me playing this loud guitar and the guy encouraging me. The guy asked her if I was going to be getting the guitar that day and she said No. It would be until I was 13 - 14 until I started taking lessons.
I think u had a wonderful job with alone again solo
Damn... I haven't seen this dude since back in the day. I would not have recognized him if his name wasn't actually mentioned.
BEN!
This dude is so bad ass
You're great composer man hugs from montevideo
That CBS Strat headstock tho 😩👌🏽
Ben Bruce you a cool dude
I always thought of Asking Alexandria and Bring me to the Horizon as a version of the Beatles and The Rolling Stones sick as bands
Love the old vypyr! One of the best cheap amps around
U and tht energy word 👁️👄👁️
Man I'd love to mess around with that Snakeskin Soldano head.
Imagine how much 😺 Ben got in his prime. Lmao
They were so young when they were “prime” I’m the same exact age as them and it’s so weird to think about, just young lads
can we talk about the fact that he has a picture of his family on his pedalboard
wow!!! nice riff's and a reaally nice place
I love seeing this part of Ben, thank you Loudwire.🤍
I love Ben ❤
That soldano is fucking beautiful 😍
Stand up and Scream ia my first & last album.
where's ur white ibanez ??? I really miss you wearing that 😭😭😭
seeing ben play the final episode makes me so happy
Looks like Asking Alexandria has forgotten one of his albums The Black even Ben isn't showing it in his studio even though I think it's also a very good album (Sorry if there are any wrong words because my English is bad)
Because the band started with Danny Worsnop, and they have a special bond with him. I've been a metalhead since 2010, and Danny was one of my favorite vocalists in metal. Still is... Dennis replaced Danny because of an argument of some sort that Ben and Danny had, Danny, and Ben and the whole Asking Alexandria crew said that they are not playing any songs off of "The Black." Danny Worsnop said he wouldn't mind, but Ben said no... therefore The Black from Asking Alexandria goes as a hidden album in a sense.. hopefully I got your question answered. 🙂
@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 Wow thanks for the answer 😊
They replaced Danny with Denis and it was a good album/2 years for the band then Denis went back home to the Ukraine he pretty much ghosted himself out of the band. Wasn’t returning any texts/phone calls and made numerous excuses about not being able to leave the Ukraine because it was ‘war torn’ or protests, something along those lines. So they had their 10 year anniversary tour coming up and asked Danny to return. Now they’ve disowned that album because of how much negativity surrounds it from their experience with Denis.
@@TheRemulosEpsolonProgramme why?
@@GreenDay8510 yes basically, Thanxs for clearing up the situation. I don't know if I wrote it correctly.
5:04 for the oldies.
Crazy train 🤘🎸
This guy still looks like a kid and Hanson has been over with for decades.
crazy tran and last resort where my favorite riffs as well!
I’m almost convinced Ben and Chris from ‘Abroad In Japan’ are the same people
Hello Been Ben Bruce nice to meet you lol 8:35
Brigaaada bb por vc ser assiiim :++++
Still the best guitarist #1❤😂
You should join AA for guitarist
seems like he mellowed out a bit on the booze, he more chill nowerdays
What is the opening song-riff etc right when this video starts " I have heard it before but can't find it because I don't know who did it !
FUCK YES FINALLY
I remember having lip piercing before because of this man and pushed me to learn guitar
He’s what kept asking going all these years and I think he’s a genuine person. I can never bring myself to see asking again because Danny is a ass and doesn’t act like he could care less to meet a fan.
Juni from Spy Kids grew up to play for AA
I feel bad cause it seems like he (and a lot of other core musicians) really miss playing the heavy music beacuse it's more technical, challenging and fun to play but the voclist usually grows out of the heavy stuff and wants to transition into genericore rock.
Get the same feeling watching other drummers and guitarists as well incld the boys from BMTH
Ben's actually the main song writer of AA
@@kenpruchnickijr8759 yeah but it's on danny what he performs
Did he stop playing with Ibanez?
Yes
Ben move to Fender
Cam move to Kiesel
First song I learned was seek and destroy without a pick.
I wonder where all his signature Ibanezs went guitars went
storage I believe, I talked to matt good who produced last 2 albums said they werent used on the records so thats my best guess.
I loved the Ibanez+peavey 5150 era, unfortunately we won't see heavy chugs from them anymore :(
I never would have guessed he plays Fenders
Ben :D
Through the never is a badass riff
I remember Ben talking about not cutting his hair because that's where all the music came from. Lol . I wonder what happened?
Ben’s accent will always be sexy.
I wonder how would cameron react to this 2:18
He getting them old eyes. I feel ya
the final episode
Tom holland on guitar
I think u are an amazing joung guitar to ur age
Love to see that proper 12
Look at this!
Ben is also the model and Im trying to spend more money 'cause Ben isnt happy, btw he is very very much.
Ben, do a rig rundown! Pedalboard
